"My ideas for teaching saxophone is to make Music!
For having a good musical phrase you have to understand basically where each and every note is going.
Sometimes is good to forget in what instrument are we playing. To avoid some specific problems we should think about how would this music sounds with other instruments, for example with the strings or piano. For makeing this possible I do have some very good exercises!!!
Yes you have to practice!!! But if you love music and you love the saxophone, then you also love working to get better and better!!! :)

Virgo has graduated from Tallinn G. Ots Music School, from Estonian Music Academy in 1997 and from Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 2004.
He has won the Third prize of Estonian Republic Woodwind Competition in Tallinn (1990). In 1996 I won the First prize and also the Audience prize at the contest
“Con Brio” for young musicians in Estonia.
He taught saxophone at Tallinn G.Ots Music School, at Sibelius College in Finland and since 2001 Hes a classical saxophone teacher at Estonian Music and Theather Academy.

Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to bring out the best version of yourself!

The lessons are intended for all levels, children or adults.
We follow a working method where you will continuously and deeply develop your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique.

Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.

Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ”

In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

Learning to play the guitar can be an amazing experience at every stage of the process! My ultimate goal is to help my students to develop their skills and musical understanding by learning and playing music that they like.

Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.).

We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation.

I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

In the classes we will address the different elements that make up music in different styles, knowing the particular language of each one. To do this, we will work on the different tools that we have with each instrument at the level at which each one is. We all know music but many times they make us believe that no, that it is necessary to know how to read and write. That is the graphic part of the language that we will learn little by little, music is a compendium of many other things. Some that we already know and others to know.

We will study the use of the keys and the positions of the clarinet, or the sax, the best way to position ourselves whether we play standing or sitting, the most efficient way to use the air, the diaphragm, the muscles. We will learn to form a good embouchure and we will develop a study method adapted to each one, according to their tastes, possibilities and interests.
I work with boys and girls from different parts of the world as well as with adults and the elderly.

In my experience I learned that, truly, the greatest limitation that we find ourselves is the very feeling of not being able, of believing that we cannot. The support of a dedicated teacher is essential to get out of those places where we accidentally enter and that sometimes limit us. We all feel that sometime. It is time for us to remedy it.

This course is designed to teach how to make your voice sound more powerful, how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression, and how to become more confident in vocal performances.

You will solve your registers, how to control your voice in every point of your range, to manage any dynamic, and find your own unique sound.

Soy maestro de guitarra, especializado en preparar a jóvenes para su examen de admisión en instituciones superiores como el Conservatorio Nacional de Música, Facultad de Música (UNAM), Escuela Superior de Música (INBA), Rock a la Palabra, entre otras. Mis estudiantes han ingresado a estas instituciones gracias a su esfuerzo, repertorio (es fundamental tener conocimientos previos para ser admitidos en estas escuelas), solfeo y sobre todo dedicación.

Soy estudiante de titulación del Conservatorio Nacional de Música de México y hace 10 años ingresé con la misma ilusión que ustedes tienen ahora de pertenecer y aprender este hermoso instrumento. Las clases son prácticas y pueden ser en línea o presenciales, tanto en mi casa como en la de ustedes, y duran entre 1 y 1:30 horas. La frecuencia puede ser de 1, 2 o 3 veces por semana, dependiendo de los objetivos del alumno, y se proporciona material para revisarlo en las próximas clases.
