One-on-one Japanese tutoring for beginners to advanced levels. I am a professional Japanese-English translator and tutor, and I was based in Tokyo for over four years.
I have worked with people of all ages and all levels in Japanese, and I'm happy to help you no matter what your final goal is - whether it's learning some Japanese for a holiday or trip, intensive tutoring or just a conversation brush-up. I have a range of studying materials we can use, and I will tailor the class to your particular needs, learning style and goals.

I am a freelance translator, tutor and researcher with a PhD in Shakespeare Studies and a degree in Japanese. I was based in Tokyo for over four years, and I currently work with a wide-range of arts and education organisations.
I have tutored English and Japanese to a diverse group of students, both in universities and freelance. I am experienced in delivering lessons online (either through video or audio only) and want to ensure that the learning needs of each student is met in my classes. I have a very flexible teaching style that corresponds to the learning goals and interests of each student, and as I am freelance I also have a flexible schedule.

One-on-one English tutoring for beginners to advanced levels. I am an experienced English tutor and have worked both with universities and freelance. I was an English language lecturer for undergraduates at the Japanese Red Cross College of Nursing in 2019. I am also a professional translator (Japanese-English, French-English), researcher and proofreader.

I am an experienced teacher and writer with a PhD in Shakespeare Studies. I am offering lessons in literature and theatre to help with understanding, reading and writing. I have taught drama and literature at universities in the UK and Japan, and have given drama lessons to both children and adults.
