Trumpet lessons for beginners ! Looking for an introduction into music or picking up a new instrument? I offer cheap and relaxed trumpet lessons for anyone who's interested in picking up a new skill or just looking for a fun hobby. I am classically trained musician with a Diploma in Trumpet Teaching and over 20 years of music experience, including symphony orchestras, wind and jazz bands.

Hello! I am a Cognitive Neuroscientist at the Donders Institute. I am from Ireland but I have been living in Nijmegen for the past two years. While living here I've enjoyed playing with the Nijmegen Student orchestra but in the past I have played with many orchestras in Ireland, including the National Youth Orchestra and Irish Youth Wind Ensemble. My favourite musical era would have to be the Romantic era with composers like Shostakovich, Sibelius and Chopin but I will always have a soft spot for Beethoven too :)

In the drum lessons you get lessons in the way that suits you best. There is room for everyone, for the absolute beginner to the advanced drummer, for everyone there is a nice way to get drum lessons. It does not matter how old you are, you are just welcome.

Every week you have half an hour of time * on which you are only busy with drumming.

You learn what you like, for one drummer that is playing with the same song for half an hour, the other drummer wants to learn 20 rims in 30 minutes, and so on. At Drumschool Arnhem it is especially important that you come to the drum lesson every week with pleasure. Because fun is the basis with which we really get to know the drum set.

* in consultation it is also possible to take lessons of 45 or 30 minutes every 2 weeks.

I specialize in teaching music in every form. for example the preparations for performances or if you have a music theory test I can help you with that. I am a guitarist by profession and I also teach as a part-time job.

The content of the lessons

All styles are covered at Musiclab. Think of blues, jazz, classical, pop, rock, et cetera. These diverse genres are played on classical, western (acoustic) and electric guitar. Bass guitar can also be practiced.

Learning to read notes and tabs are an integral part of the lesson. However, improvisation can also be part of this. In the technical field, chord playing, scales, arpeggios and various playing techniques such as hammer-ons, pull-offs and tapping are discussed. Theory can also be taught in preparation for vocational music education.

Lessons at Musiclab are intended for the serious guitarist or bassist who has time to practice at home. Musiclab is flexible and offers various options on different days and times to follow the lessons. This is particularly useful for people with varying working hours and / or pupils / students.

With my lessons, a lot is possible! You can have individual lessons or even duos, or ensembles! A soprano, or a tenor, a sopranino or a sub-bass, you can learn them all! The recorder is an instrument that offers a very varied repertoire as well: very old (up to 800 years!) pr very modern, jazz or pop! Anything is possible really!
I offer lessons for any level or age, for me, the most important is to share my passion and enjoy the beautiful craft that is making music! In that sense, my aim will always be to bring the student as far as I can within his own wishes and potential!

As a fourth-year conservatory student, I offer fun and good piano lessons for every level. The lessons can take place on location or at home. A standard piano lesson takes half an hour with me. This can take place once a week, every 2 weeks, or every month. For people who play a lot or are more advanced, half an hour is sometimes not enough, for them I also offer lessons of 45 minutes or an hour. With your wishes first, we make a lesson plan with which you can get to know the piano (better) as quickly as possible.

You can learn about music from every genre from prehistory to the present. You can learn to read/write music notation and/or learn about the theories behind classical music, jazz and pop music. I can help you write songs and compositions, or analyze a piece of music. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it's the history of the electric guitar or writing a fugue, I'm happy to teach you. Anything is possible.

I trained as a musician/writer and teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have taught music theory, music history, art history, creative writing, and other subjects to the upper grades of a small secondary school, where I am also a team member. I have written music for film, theater, band, and orchestra. I have also performed extensively on stage. I write teaching materials that are used at various secondary and higher education schools. I have extensive experience with innovative teaching methods and one-on-one teaching.
