Hello! I am passionate about helping students in Math whether it is in a specific topic, homework, or exam preparation. I am very familiar with curriculums such as IB (MYP/DP), GCSE/A Levels, and the VWO, however I have also worked with students from other education backgrounds.

I recently finished my bachelors in Finance and am currently a masters student at CBS studying Data Science. I have been tutoring math privately for over 7 years and have experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Amsterdam where I thought multiple courses. The main aim of my classes is to create a strong foundation so that students are confident in progressing to solving questions independently.

The class will be held in English (Fluent) or German (Native). Before we start, I firstly try to find out together with the student, where are the strengths and weaknesses he or she has in order to customize the lessons. Generally, we do exercises depending on current education level and according to the material at class as well as repetitions of previous lessons. At some point we can include pc software supporting the understanding (of Geometry), but this will be especially for High School level. During vacations, the contents will be mostly based on repetitions. The lessons can be remote, however I strongly recommend direct interaction. The lessons are for Middle and High School level for students from 12-99y, so this might be interesting for adults as well :)

I am looking forwards hearing from you :) The best is to have an initiate call/meeting together with the student to talk about level of education, type of lessons, week days etc.

I am an assistant lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, teaching econometrics, macroeconomics, and finance courses. Besides, I conduct private research in the intersection of mathematical finance and deep learning.
I have pursued studies in economics, finance, and mathematics, therefore due to the combined skills developed in these subjects, I have a holistic view, down to a more technical one about financial and economic problems.
I believe that I am quick to learn new material since I have easily learnt advanced courses in mathematics coming from an economics background, so I think that my abstract reasoning skills developed mainly during the last years, have given me the ability to deeply learn any material, which I think it is key for anyone that wants to get involved with any form of teaching. I can teach mathematics up to Calculus, English and Portuguese language, and undergraduate or graduate courses in Economics and Finance.

Lehramtstudentin bietet indivudelle Hilfe, bei Vorbereitungen für Klassenarbeiten, bei der Unterstützung von Hausaufgaben und Spaß daran zu haben. Mein Ziel ist es, dem Schüler dabei zu unterstützen, ihm/ihr den Spaß am Lernen nicht zu verlieren und sich vorallem in der Schule zu verbessern. Auch für mich als angehende Lehrerin wäre es eine Chance mich später auf das Berufsleben vorzubereiten und neue Erfahrungen zu sammeln und dazuzugewinnen.

The class is taught dynamically, based on the student's level and current topics being taught at school.
