Ich ziehe es vor, ein individuelles Programm für den Schüler zu erstellen, das seinen Wünschen und Zielen entspricht. Insgesamt ist es mir ein Anliegen, eine positive und ruhige Umgebung für meine Schüler zu schaffen, während ich dieses komplexe und schöne Instrument unterrichte.

Ich biete auch Unterricht in Musiktheorie an: Vorbereitung auf Musikschulen, allgemeines Wissen und Verständnis von Musiktheorie oder ein tieferes Verständnis davon - wenn der Schüler weitergehen möchte. Musiktheorie kann aus Harmonie, Kontrapunkt, Analyse von gewünschten Werken, Akkorden, Intervallen, Gehörbildung... bestehen.

Für Interessierte biete ich auch das elektronische Tool Logic Pro an, da ich in den letzten 5 Jahren meiner Ausbildung elektronische Musik mit diesem Programm komponiert habe. Wir können diesen Aspekt mit Musikkomposition kombinieren oder uns auf technische Elemente konzentrieren.

Mein Ziel ist es, einen rücksichtsvollen und respektvollen Raum zu schaffen, in dem das Musizieren zu einer glücklichen Erfahrung wird. Ich unterrichte gerne auf Deutsch, Englisch und Türkisch.

I offer piano lessons; with the focus of enjoying the music, learning proper techniques, and having a psychologically uplifting experience. I prefer to create an individual program for the student according to their wishes and goals. Overall, I love to achieve a positive and calm environment for my students, while teaching this complex and beautiful instrument.

I also offer Music Theory lessons; preparations for Music schools, general knowledge, and understanding of Music Theory, or a deeper understanding of it - if the student wished to go forward. Music Theory can consist of Harmony, Counterpoint, Analysis of desired works, Chords, Intervals, Ear Training...

I offer the electronic tool Logic Pro for who is interested as well, since I have composed electronic music using this program for the last 5 years of my education. We can combine this aspect with Music Composition or focus on technical elements.

My goal is to create a considerate and respectful space where making music becomes a happy experience. I am happy to teach in German, English, and Turkish.

I have been studying music since I almost know myself. This all started with a fascination towards the piano, after starting to sing in the Turkish Radio Choir for Children. I desperately wanted to learn how to play the piano and now here I am. I have studied piano for a long time and then decided to add studying Composition to the equation as well.

One thing I learned while studying music is that this is a labor of love. Therefore I care deeply about my student's experiences and feelings while learning music. I try to create a supportive, positive, and kind environment for them to experience this in a healthy way. And I like to create a program according to my student's wishes and goals, that are specific to them.

Wenn ich meinen Klavierunterricht beschreiben müsste, würde ich sagen, dass er sehr viel Spaß macht! Das Gespräch und die Theorie sind zweitrangig, das Wichtigste ist, zu spielen und dann zu sehen, wie man zuhört und sich von dort aus anpasst. Meine Schüler haben Spaß, ihnen gefällt unser Unterricht, sonst würden sie nicht üben und keine Fortschritte machen :)
Es ist wichtig, dass Sie durch unseren Unterricht selbstständiger und sicherer werden, wenn es darum geht, Musik selbst zu spielen und zu verstehen! Ich verfüge über vierzehn Jahre Unterrichtserfahrung und habe Musikpädagogik, Klavier und Cembalo studiert, was ich zu Ihrem Verständnis nutzen werde. Dieses Jahr werde ich mich ausschließlich auf das Unterrichten von Personen über 12 Jahren konzentrieren. Wenn Sie maximal 15 Fahrradminuten von meinem Haus entfernt wohnen, ist ein Besuch bei Ihnen möglich. Ansonsten werde ich an der Kunstuniversität oder zu Hause unterrichten.

I'm a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organise events.

I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance.

They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative goodies (VSTs, effects, personal racks)

I offer in-person and online lessons in double bass and electric bass, improvisation (all instruments, from general ideas to specific concepts) and composition, specialising in Western and experimental notated music and creatively using Ableton as a composition tool. I am based in Berlin-Neukölln and Tempelhof or can come to your location.

I am active throughout Europe as a composer, performer and improviser, and also perform regularly in Berlin. As well as being a full-time professional musician, I was a senior lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire, UK, from 2018-2023, developing and delivering courses and curriculums, and have been a private teacher for 15 years. I hold Bachelor and Master's degrees in music, double bass and composition and have studied at schools in Birmingham, Paris and Berlin.

Our lessons are based around the areas you are most interested in developing, and together we come up with a plan to help you move closer to your aims and goals, whether that be learning specific songs or repertoire, being able to improvise basslines or solos, improving technique etc. I am open to all ways of learning at all levels, from beginners to professionals. I additionally offer free optional audio or video feedback between lessons which can serve as useful reminders of ideas, techniques, exercises etc. or just to check in.

Instrumental lessons are relaxed and can include theory, composition and improvisation from the beginning to help develop well-rounded musical skills. Improvisation lessons are suitable for all instruments/vocals and can cover specific musical contexts such as jazz, free improvisation, interpretation of new music (contemporary music) etc.

In my teaching career I have also had the opportunity to develop specialist music projects with children and young adults, using interesting, fun and creative starting points. At the same time my current students range from age 16-50+ and my practise as a professional improviser allows me to be flexible and keep things interesting across all ages, ability levels and genres. Ultimately, it is about developig a personal relationship with the instrument or music, that keeps you engaged and having fun!
