I can cater to teaching any level of English from beginner to advanced. Teaching has always been a passion for me and I'm sure you will see results if you put the work in. I am a native English speaker from Ireland now studying Business in the Netherlands. I am a fully qualified to teach English as a foreign language. I believe that a supportive, safe environment is ideal for learning a language. I teach through a combination of spoken and written work. In my class I like to focus on usable effective spoken skills over written competency but this balance can be adjusted for any student.
All classes will be taught through English

I am a native English speaker from Ireland. I think teaching is a privilege and enjoy it so much when I get the chance to do it. Learning a new language is a difficult thing and many people struggle to do so. This is why I try to foster a safe environment where mistakes are not punished. Hard work will be required of anybody trying to learn a language but there's no need for stress or worry on top of that. I am passionate about teaching but I also have an interest in sports, reading and traveling. Developing as a person is an invaluable thing in life and learning a new language is an ideal way to achieve that.

Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums. Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests! That's why I could take a more conventional approach to teaching but I prefer an interactive engaging type of class. We can start with basic daily life based conversations to delving into more detailed and specific contexts, to a level where any types of topics can be covered.
I would encourage students and myself to only converse in the language that is being taught. But I could still provide explanation and guidance in either Korean or English!
