Making and designing costumes is something many fear to approach, due to the unconventional nature of their making. As a self-taught costume designer and seamstress with 10 years of experience I believe the best approach to learning is by doing. Together, we will come up with a design, talk about the different aspects of creating a costume for different purposes, break down the different parts of the design and work on it together - from pattern creation or augmentation to the final costume. I can teach either on your own sewing machine or mine.
