This class will support students studying history up to GCSE level by understanding exam structure and learning revision techniques to remember important dates. It will include engaging content to provoke interest in students and encourage them to ask questions to improve their knowledge of the subject. I studied History at GCSE and A level, obtaining a Grade 7 and an A respectively. I also wrote an extended essay on Victorian History at A level, in which I obtained an A also. I have relevant experience working with children; I volunteered at a local youth club for two years and I have extensive experience with childminding. I worked as a Teaching Assistant during Sixth form in history classes so I have knowledge of teaching and student support. I also have a certified Level 3 safeguarding qualification.

This class will support young people in gaining confidence with studying English Literature or Language from primary school age upwards. I use engaging material to encourage students to embrace their creativity. At exam level, I will help students with essay structuring and how to achieve a high grade in this subject, particularly at GCSE level. I obtained a Grade 8 in English Literature and Language at GCSE level. I studied English Literature at A-level in which I obtained an A. I have extensive experience of working with children; I volunteered at a local youth club, and also as a teaching assistant during my A-level studies.
