I specialise in tutoring Maths, Science(triple science as well as combined) as well as many other common GCSE subjects. I will excel at this job as not only do I have an extensive knowledge in maths and science, I also feel that I have an approachable and kind persona that the students will feel at ease with and build a strong relationship. In my experience of mosque tuition I found that in teaching there are two main and important qualities that a student/teacher relationship should have: the ability for the student to feel comfortable to ask the teacher for help and the ability for the teacher to help the student in the way they think will benefit the student most. I can confidently say that my experience in mosque teaching has allowed me to expand in my teaching skills and the way in which it is appropriate to teach students of different ages and abilities. My teaching methodology is dependent on my student and there willingness to learn. If I see a student is happy to individually study, I would allow them to work through a book and come to me for support when encountering areas of difficulty. If not, I would work with them through the book, ensuring they understand each individual topic before moving to the next. I have taught students one year above me as well as many younger kids. I have taught from the age range of 7-15.
