Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.

Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ”

In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

I try to develop as quickly as possible to the students, that is to say to make them able to target their own difficulties and to invent the exercises to solve them.

--About me--
I have been a guitar teacher for over 20 years, giving private lessons, teaching at music schools (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien), and leading workshops (AKDT). I started playing guitar 30 years ago and have never stopped. I've explored all styles: from classical to pop songs, then electric guitar: blues, rock, and jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed my skills in flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian music (with Osman Martins), Gypsy music, and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also well-versed in Gypsy jazz. Therefore, I can teach all levels and styles. I teach music theory alongside the practical exercises so that the material is absorbed naturally. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.

Je lie systématiquement le travail concret de l'instrument ( Classique, Variété ou Jazz ) avec un apprentissage minimal des éléments de base de la pratique musicale en général : théorie de la musique, formation de l'oreille intérieure, développement de la sensibilité harmonique, mélodique et rythmique, solfège etc... Je peux volontiers aborder tout cela plus profondément à la demande de l'élève, c'est passionnant aussi vous verrez !

La première rencontre sera l'occasion de discuter de tout cela, afin de mettre en place un cadre adopté à votre profil (Jeune enfant débutant, adolescent confirmé, adulte en reprise ou autres...)

Graduated in cello in Barcelona, finishing my master in historical cello at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Passionate cellist with a lot of experience in performance and education. I specialize in historically informed music, so I try to understand the context around each music I play, so we enter into a dialogue between current events and the era in which the music was created. Even though music is universal, specific terms and method learning differ from one culture and another one. This is why I propose some individual courses of music and piano for people curions about discovering or maybe improving their artistic skills in the language of Moliere.

I am a professional drummer, composer, and performer based in Brussels, with an active career in jazz, improvised, and creative music across Europe.

Whether your background is rock, pop, world, indie, or anything else, we focus on what serves your music, and on what learning this instrument can become. My goal is not to tell you strictly how things should be done, but to help you find your own way of doing them. To strengthen the musician that already exists inside you, and give you the tools to grow with confidence and independence.

Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni.

Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli.

Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. Her teaching approach places particular emphasis on physical awareness and well-being, guiding students toward healthy and efficient use of the body while playing. Music theory is fully integrated into her lessons and is always connected to practical application on the instrument.
