My courses are open to all middle and high school students, but especially to those who prepare the baccalaureate of French and philosophy. In giving courses to high school students, I have indeed noticed how much the difficulties they encounter often come from a lack of method and a poor understanding of the requirements of the test. It is by making this observation that I began to direct my private lessons and my group internships towards the baccalaureate preparation, in order to give the students the "weapons" that will allow them to enter the exam serenely, with more than trust.

These courses focus on:

- UNDERSTAND what philosophical questioning is, and see how philosophy is the chance for everyone to think for themselves / Understand what a literary text is, and how to listen to it.

- THE METHOD: it will be necessary to clarify the bases of the test, to explain its requirements - in short, to understand what the dissertation and the commentary of text consist. From this perspective, I will explain: how to approach a subject, understand it, and analyze it. How to structure his reasoning. How to highlight his knowledge.

- PRACTICE: we will practice the test progressively: corpus question, essay, text commentary, etc. As such, students will be asked for personal work to do at home, between classes. It is only through this practical application that the requirements of the test can be understood in the full sense of the term.

I also offer English and Spanish courses, languages that I speak fluently, following many trips abroad.

I give courses in literary subjects. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I already have a lot of experience in this field, and I adapt to each student with an individualized pedagogy. We will start from the texts and themes of the program in question (high school program or courses taken at the university). From there, it will be a question of developing a deep and conceptually rigorous reading capacity of the text. This work will be done together between the student and the professor, trying to identify the key points through dialogue - issues, thesis, argumentative path, etc. - the author in question. Following this, it is essential to move on to personal work where the student will be confronted with the writing and production of a philosophical thought. This precise exercise will obviously depend on the time that the student will want to invest in the course as well as his strengths and what he needs to improve. It will therefore be a question of writing short introductions of text or essay commentary, short dialogues, detailed plans, short essays, etc. I am in fact convinced that philosophy, like any other skill, is also and above all learned through concrete practice and confrontation with specific exercises.

I hope that through this methodology we will reach the precise objectives that the student sets out for himself, by means of a living philosophy and active teaching. The method is obviously open to change, which means that the main driving force of the whole course will be the dialogue and continuous exchange between the student and the teacher. Only in this way, I hope, we really learn to philosophize and we can therefore understand what philosophy is about.

Typical procedure:
- The first hour of class is devoted to an analysis of the copies, the program seen in class and the student's needs.
- My philosophy courses are more focused on the methodology of the dissertation and the explanation of text and on the development of philosophical reflection than on the learning of “quotations” or philosophical doctrines.
- We approach and explain together some important philosophical texts, which complement and fuel the reflection on the theme covered in class.
- I offer a series of exercises which aim to understand the major philosophical concepts and currents of thought. I also suggest that they practice writing dissertations and explaining philosophical texts.
- I then do a precise analysis of each philosophy assignment and give feedback on what remains to be improved.

Je pense que la meilleure façon d'apprendre quelque chose, et surtout d'apprendre une langue, est de partir du dialogue et des intérêts de l'apprenant. Bien sûr, le professeur doit savoir bien écrire, parler et comprendre ce qu'il lit.
