I offer individual Serbian lessons for everyone interested in learning the language. The lessons are adapted to the level of the student and the focus of the lessons is based on student ́s wishes, preferences or needs.
The material for the lessons is prepared by myself with the help of books and in cooperation with the student.

I am native Serbian speaker and linguist by education, thus I have necessary knowledge, methodology and experience for language teaching.
I have Masters degree in French and Romance languages and literatures from the University of Ljubljana and Université libre de Bruxelles. During and after my studies, I was offering individual and also group language lessons, among others also Serbian language lessons in the European Parliament.

Having a Masters degree in French and Romance languages and literatures, I found teaching languages something that I enjoy doing. I love passing my knowledge of the language and the culture to other people. I strongly believe that to truly know the language, you have to understand the nation that speaks it, thus my lessons are tightly connected to the cultural background in order to reason the language, get familiar with its functioning, development and tendencies.

Several years of teaching languages (mainly French and Serbian), both individually and in small groups. I started with language teaching in 2013 as a student in Brussels, but among my teaching experiences I count also Serbian language classes in the European Parliament.

My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson.
Every lesson will be tailored to the specific needs of each student.
I have a degree in Spanish and French linguistics as well as literature and translation and have also studied in English.

At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

I can also give tailor made classes to working professionals, PhD students, who would like to focus on their academic English (EAP=English for Academic Purposes), essay writing and presentations skills.
After the very first meeting, I try my best to adopt the lessons to the needs and goals of my students.
