Bonjour,

I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums.

Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). We'll use news, social media, Netflix and much more. À bientôt !

Ik geef al lang taallessen vanuit Frankrijk, waar ik de afgelopen zes jaar gewoond en gestudeerd heb. Ik heb een diploma in Franse literatuur en spreek vloeiend.

Omdat ik zelf ook Frans heb moeten leren, weet ik precies welke stappen je moet doorgaan om op niveau te komen, heb ik lesmateriaal beschikbaar en begrijp ik de moeilijke punten en hoe je ze overkomt als nieuwe spreker. Ik help jullie graag om deze prachtige taal ook te leren!

In mijn taallessen pas ik me aan aan de wensen van mijn leerlingen, aangezien iedereen vaak verschillende focuspunten en/of verwachtingen heeft in een taalles. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat de best manier is om te kijken naar teksten die vanuit het land zelf komen, naast de paar nodige oefeningen uit taalmethodes. Daarom zullen we vooral praten, lezen en luisteren wat Fransen ook lezen en luisteren, zodat je een natuurlijk Frans aanleert in plaats van een schoolse manier van praten.

Ik hou erg van lessen geven, sta open voor suggesties en vind het belangrijk dat er een band van vertrouwen wordt geschept tijdens de lessen, zodat iedereen het meeste uit deze lessen kan halen. Meer dan de helft van het leren is gewoon durven!

Ik geef zowel on- als offline les, hoewel de huidige situatie wel om wat voorzichtigheid vraagt wat direct contact betreft. We kunnen het hier uiteraard over hebben.
