Le cours a pour objectif d'améliorer les compétences linguistiques et communicatives de l'élève (compréhension orale/écrite et expression orale/écrite) en fonction de son niveau. L’idée est également de proposer des exercices adaptés à ses besoins. Selon le cas, il est possible que nous privilégions le travail de l’expression et de la compréhension orales plutôt qu’écrites, ou inversement. Dans d’autres cas, il se peut que nous devions travailler les deux. Cela varie en fonction des objectifs de l’élève. Quoi qu’il en soit, nous pouvons nous préparer aussi bien pour un niveau informel (par exemple, un voyage et/ou une future installation dans un pays hispanophone) que pour des contextes formels (réussir un cours au collège/à l’université et/ou pour des raisons professionnelles). Dans chaque cas, des aspects spécifiques seront travaillés. Néanmoins, il est aussi possible d’adopter une approche globale. En somme, l’objectif est de permettre à chacun d’apprendre ce dont il a réellement besoin, de façon pédagogique et aussi ludique que possible, tout en conservant un cadre sérieux.

I am a native Mandarin speaker and hold a Master's degree in Literature. I am fluent in English. With several years of experience in languages and teaching, I am able to identify the characteristics of different students and apply different methods. I am an experienced German teacher, who taught for the last 5 years online and 1 to 1 lessons for a language centre (Brighton) The lessons are individually tailored, we will work on all 4 skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading. Lessons will be tailored around your individual language needs. We work usually with a book from A1 - C1 and then with media (news articles and materials/videos from the internet). Lessons will be a mixture of reading texts and then answering questions or discussing the topic, listening exercises and free speaking. You also can read books (easy reader) or bring your own materials to the lessons. I teach grammar in context with texts, not independently. But students will develop in time a concept of the various elements in a sentence (pronoun, verb, preposition, adjective, noun, adverb etc) and get a clear picture of sentence structure (main and subordinate clauses and placement of verbs). Still, the main focus will be on conversation, students will immerse in the fascinating world of German words and expressions, doing role plays and practicing day to day situations. Developing not only their language skills but also their fantasy and improvisation skills.
