I am a Master's student in Art History and work at the Swiss Institute for Art Studies (SIK-ISEA). I regularly replace in primary school, from 1P to 8P, so I know the program a little and know how to adapt to the requirements. I also gave support courses to secondary/cycle and higher education (ECG/gymnasium) students for several years. Maths, French, science, English, possibly German. I can help your child or teenager progress through the curriculum. Together, we can review exercises they've struggled with, review theory, and analyze it in different ways to better understand what's going on. I can also help them revise for assessments. I like to believe that if we can restore a little self-confidence in a student, we can sometimes make them appreciate and enjoy learning, which is a great success.

The purpose of this course is to help students develop their musical sensibility as (classical) pianists. Whether it be online or in person-- though in person is preferred, as it makes teaching more engaging--, classes will consist of a play-through of a specific repertoire followed by advice on technique, interpretation and practice methods. The students can bring their own pieces to play or I can provide some myself, and the goal will be to ensure that this is played faithfully with respect to the score, but most importantly, musically, and in this way to rapidly but securely build repertoire.

Ma méthodologie se base sur l'élève en face de moi. J'ai préparé différents modules de cours et j'ai un grand répertoire de morceaux. J'ai une approche de la musique variée : les cours se basent essentiellement sur l'apprentissage des notes, des rythmes, la lecture de partition, la théorie musicale, la composition, l'improvisation. Néanmoins, je suis très ouverte à chaque nouvelle demande et j'ai une bonne maîtrise des outils tels que MuseScore et GarageBand. J’ai acquis une bonne expérience en donnant des cours particuliers depuis 4 ans et j’ai affiné ma méthode au fur et à mesure. Chaque élève est différent et appréhende l’apprentissage de manière différente, la clé selon moi est donc de s’adapter. Je pense qu’avec la volonté et le travail, tout est possible !

Whether you're new to this magnificent instrument or looking to perfect your trombone skills, my goal is to guide you through motivating and, above all, musical progress. By covering the essential basics of instrumental playing (posture, breathing, articulation, etc.), we will explore a repertoire that speaks to you: classical, jazz, brass bands, pop, etc. Beyond the music itself, these classes are also an opportunity to develop other valuable qualities such as listening, concentration, patience and knowing how to be relaxed.
