Music is something incredible, specially when you start to understand it! In this class I will go through the basics of music theory to help you understand the songs you choose to sing and teach you all the guitar basic for you to be able to take on a song and make it your own.

This class is specially suited for people who really want to learn how to play so they can play and sing and make real acoustic performances without needing backup tracks.

Somethings we'll cover in class:
- Learning how to read music
- Understanding some of the rules in music so we can understand the songs we are playing
- Basis for trying to learn a song by ear and doing some own arrangements to it
- Guitar chords
- Building a chord on the guitar
- Learn how to use both hands in different ways and play with rhythm
- Play from your soul and not just because you've learn it!

Music Theory for those who love music and don't know where to start!

Music Theory is maybe not the most interesting subject (very theoretical!) but it's the most helpful one for all aspiring musicians. In all my years in music, Music theory is what has allowed me to be able to play many instruments after getting the technical part down in a very short time and that has allowed me to do some of my accompanist job throughout the years.

If you want to learn all the basis that will allow you to grow as a musician, this class is for you! You'll learn the basic rules of music, how to read it, both the notes and the rhythm, and how you can go about creating your own things knowing what's the best and easiest way of doing it. Everything you'll learn in this class can be put into practical use if you are, for example, learning a new instrument or learning how to sing!

The class will be planed in the way that best fits your objective as a musician!

As a pianist, musicologist and composer, I am passionate about music and I tend to cover the maximum amount of subjects inside music in my lessons. I don’t only teach how to play piano, but I explain, in the most suitable way for my students, how music works, the theory of music, how to create music and your own songs, where do concepts come from, the relationship between intervals and harmonies, etc.

This course covers the basics of the instrument and utilisation of music theory fundamentals. Learners will study the basics of playing guitar at a beginning level through studying music scales, chord symbols, and common guitar practice. A concise history of the electric guitar along with a study of its corresponding musical techniques will also be included in this course.

The main objective of this course is to produce an intensified appreciation for music by playing the guitar. Students will learn how to read music notation, chord symbols, and tablature. Students will also gain a better understanding of many different musical genres including pop, punk, blues, jazz, rock, and other popular music styles.
