Essential course for the electric guitar (Emphasis in Pop and Rock music)

This course covers the basics of the instrument and utilisation of music theory fundamentals. Learners will study the basics of playing guitar at a beginning level through studying music scales, chord symbols, and common guitar practice. A concise history of the electric guitar along with a study of its corresponding musical techniques will also be included in this course.

The main objective of this course is to produce an intensified appreciation for music by playing the guitar. Students will learn how to read music notation, chord symbols, and tablature. Students will also gain a better understanding of many different musical genres including pop, punk, blues, jazz, rock, and other popular music styles.

I have taught piano for 20years on three different continents (North America, Asia, and Europe). During this time I have worked with pupils from many different cultural backgrounds, aged between 4-80, with skills ranging from novice to advance players. I completed my Associateship Teaching Diploma in 2004, from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I have also taught and tutored rudimentary to advanced theory (harmony) for the past 10 years, for ABRSM exams and undergraduate music courses. All my students pass their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Exam on their first try.

I have instructed students of different age groups in saxophone performance and music theory (including counterpoint, harmony and composition) up until university level, in Spain and the UK. After graduating from Cambridge with a double starred first, taking into consideration my academic results and teaching experience, I have also been selected for inclusion in the Supervisor Registry to teach counterpoint and harmony papers. My approach to lessons is very flexible, and I always try to adapt to the needs and qualities of each student. I believe that communication is essential, and at the beginning of each lesson I ask my students if they found my recommendations from the previous lesson helpful and how they see their progress. After this spoken introduction, we proceed to work on some warm-up and technical exercises. Then, we play some studies and pieces, or go over some music theory exercises, trying to apply the advice from the previous lesson and make further improvements. Finally, we conclude the lesson with a summary, listing the main key points and suggestions and comparing our experience to the previous lessons, trying to find a clear sense of progression and a coherent line of work towards a certain goal. This teleological mindset occupies a central position in my methodology, and I always encourage my students to look ahead and plan a series of stimulating events or challenges to look foward to, such as a concert, a recital, a presentation or an exam.

I offer a tuition program that covers lectures designed for both beginners and more advanced players. I am a fully qualified guitar teacher with many years of experience as a session player and performer within the music industry in both live environment and in recording studios.
From music theory, arranging and composition as well as instrument related lessons my tuition program is adapted to the need and level of my student. I have been regularly teaching music theory, guitar, bass and saxophone in the UK to all level student since 2008.
I graduated from Tech Music School (London College of Music) in 2012 with a Popular Music Performance Degree on guitar and was classicly train on saxophone since the age of 5.
I also have a Master in Music Industry Management and Artist Development.

I always do my best to create a supportive, stress-free environment so that the students can have a really fun time learning, while encouraging them to expand their capabilities at a pace that suits them best.

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.
My lessons are for all ages, all levels, and all voices. I specialised in the voice of Countertenor.

Paganini Conservatory of Advanced Music Specialization in Genoa, one of Italy's most prestigious conservatories. My professional life since obtaining my higher diploma from the conservatory has been full filled as pianist soloist, accompanist (lyrical singers, instrumental, ballet) and teacher. Settled for many years on the French Riviera (l'm bilingual) and moved in London during 2015, l weekly perform and l teach to any level. My repertoire is obviously classical but also my daily job is playing for Corporate Event, Dinner Presentations, Cocktails Party and Art Galleries . Stoke Park Country Club Buckinghamshire (Wedding), Brunswick House,Cafe' Royal Regent Street, Westfield Stratford and White City are some of the frequent locations where l usually perform. With more than 25 years of experience in classical piano tutoring, my classes programs so combine both instrumental theory and lessons of music history, theory, literature, solfeggio and analisys. Many students of mine achieved DIplomas with distinction. l recently played at "La Roque d'Antheron" International Piano Festival 2018.
