Art History is fascinating, since it can be studied both in books and all around you. That's why, I would first meet up with student to see what he/she is looking for (a more precised knowledge of a period in Art History, a movement, an artist) and then advise him/her certain books and places to see, before taking him/her to the museum, to describe and analyse the paintings in real life. Paris is gifted with beautiful museums and collections, from the Gothic period to contemporary art, let's get the best of it. I can also explain the tricks of the parisian architecture and urbanism, and also, since I'm a drama student, can take my student to the theater, to show him what french tradition is and what french "nouvelle vague" in theatre is too. I want to give a wide and yet precised outlook on the french culture.

I'm a drama student, and aspire to be a stage artist.
I'm fluent in english thanks to my mother who lived in London and New-York for a couple of years.
I love teaching, I've done that with kids I was baby-sitting, and with friends in college to help them out in classes they were failing (and they did it for me too !)

French lessons for children, students, adults who need to speak fluent french or just would like to

I can teach french for students who need to pass an exam, or just wish to speak a better french and to be better acquainted with french culture. My goal is to understand what my student really wants, how he/she works, so I can be the best help for him/her. I'm patient, efficient, hard-working and I want my students to get better in time.

I give private lessons in art history for three years, either for students who need an accompaniment, or for the curious who want to enrich their artistic culture.

My teaching adapts precisely to the needs of each student and especially to their way of assimilating information.
Former student in difficulty, I developed a method that allows to analyze any type of work, from classical to contemporary, without prior knowledge.
I am specialized in the methodology of dissertation / dissertation according to the rules of the French University. (Construction of the plan, development of a common thread, layout etc.)

Passionate, I also like to transmit the wonderful stories of the works during introductory courses in art history, artistic culture or guided tours of the museum.

My classes are also convivial moments where we can talk about our personal interests, which allows me to direct my students to exhibitions, readings or events related to their subject.

My goal is obviously to make my students autonomous, so I give them all the tools they need to know how to provide excellent work without being dependent on the particular teacher at the end of the year.

My latest students:

- Zaïd: redoubling for the second time his degree in Visual Arts at the Sorbonne because of theoretical subjects, passed his exams successfully this year. He regained confidence and taste to study.

-Claire: student at Boulle school in woodcarving redoubled because of his memory. I supervised him in the writing of his new dissertation mixing literary analysis, artistic and scientific discoveries. She validated it brilliantly.

-Tian: 30 years old, Chinese student, had no knowledge of Western art history. After a year of private lessons, she was admitted to the GRETA School of Tour Guides.

-Aude: I guide Aude and her two teenage children in the big museums to discover the little stories behind each painting. From the Palais de Tokyo to the Louvre Museum I invent for them playful ways to apprehend the works.

- Jacqueline: 94 years old, had lost her good humor and was bored. For 2 years now, we have met every week for a moment of sharing and exchange around artistic themes chosen especially for her. It’s a joy for everyone.

Kenza

This course offers an in-depth exploration of painting, with an emphasis on the techniques, styles, and artistic movements that have marked the history of art. Intended for students of all levels, the course combines practical painting sessions with theoretical studies of iconic works, allowing participants to draw inspiration from old and contemporary masters to develop their own style.

Currently studying art history at the École du Louvre, and having studied in prestigious schools such as the École Olivier de Serres, I am a creator-researcher in contemporary art, specializing in culinary design, which enriches my pedagogical approach with a unique interdisciplinary perspective.

Students will learn to master various painting techniques, such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor, while discovering how these mediums have evolved over the centuries, techniques that I learned in particular during my professional experience in the museographic workshops (decoration painting) of the Louvre Museum. In parallel, discussions and analyses of works of art will allow us to situate the practice of painting in a broader historical and cultural context.
