Ciao a tutti! I am Sofia, 25 years old, Italian teacher with a Bachelor degree in Italian Literature at the University of Milan and a Master at the University of Fribourg, (CH), currently living in Groningen. I come from a city near Milan, where since for years I thaught Italian to foregners living in the city as a tool for intercultural communication and intergration. For the past 4 years, I have been teaching Italian professionally, with students of different levels, from absolute beginners to advanced, younger and adults, online (students mostly from Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands) and offline (students from all the world). I have experience as a middle school teacher in Italy and as an Italian for foreigners intern in the Dante Alighieri Institute (Italian cultural institute) of Innsbruck, Austria. I can provide the materials for my courses. If the student wishes, I can enrich my lessons with excursions into Italian literature and culture, that, of course, I love very much. In overall, what I enjoy most about teaching languages is the human exchange, so I try to create friendly and conversational environments, following my students' talents and interests with different kinds of inputs and media(reading, songs, videos, etc). Being a student can be stressful and especially when you have a paper, essay or report due.
This is where I can come in and help you with your work. Need to enhance your sentence structure, or possibly improve your English writing to academic level? I can offer you to proofread your assignments, thoroughly check them and provide feedback on the content.

You have reached the end of your education and you are going to conclude it with a research report or thesis. You've worked on your topic for a while, collected most of the data, and you already know quite a bit about it, but now everything has to come into a well-written and logically structured story. That can be tricky, but I can help you with that! During my career at the universities of Utrecht and Groningen I supervised many students in subjects such as ecology and environmental sciences. I also really enjoy interdisciplinary thinking and working, for example by connecting scientific topics with business administration and/or policy questions, resulting in an advisory report for a company or government.
After my retirement from university in 2019, I also supervised students from other disciplines such as history and geography. Perhaps most importantly, I really enjoy using my broad experience to help motivated students.

Do you want to learn French? Do you want to speak fluently French and write correctly in French? Then, this class is for you! I am a third-year Swiss student at the University of Groningen, I speak English, German, and French. I am available to give French classes. I have experience in teaching French courses, as I was a tutor for a child.

Need help with Italian, Spanish, or French? I’m a native Italian speaker who grew up in Spain, so I’m fluent in both Italian and Spanish. I also studied French and earned the European Baccalaureate, so I can confidently help you with all three languages, whether you’re a beginner, need exam prep, or just want to improve your conversation skills.

I work with kids, students, and adults, anyone looking to learn or improve their language skills.I have a C1 on the three languages (according to the European Baccalaureate, but I am in the process of getting the official certificates) and plenty of experience helping others, especially kids (I have many siblings, so I know how to keep learning fun and engaging!).
I'm an international student in Groningen, currently I'm on my second year of studying International Communication at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. I sadly do not speak any Dutch, therefore the lessons will be taught in English, I also do not have a place to hold the lessons so we can do it online or I can travel to your place!
