Italian Language for beginners and Intermediate students and adults

Hello everybody! I am Michela, an Italian teacher and native speaker settled in Brussels right now. I decided to become a teacher a long time ago and I worked a lot for that. This is why I graduated in a M.A. in Italian as a second language and I passed several Teaching certifications (DILS and TEFL) to be sure I will be prepared enough to guarantee the best experience for my students. I also taught Italian to adults for one year and English in the Italian Public High School. I love my language and my country. I also love talking with other nationalities to share cultures and lifestyles. When I teach, I'd rather prefer a communicative approach, that means to focus on the communicative skills to let the student be able to start a conversation and use the language in real situations as soon as possible. This doesn't mean that the grammar is not taken into consideration, but it means that grammar will be learnt through the use of language in a deductive way and as something useful to understand the language, instead of being a top-down process.

Hello! I am Michela, an Italian girl passionate with languages, literature and sharing cultures in general. I love travelling and I love my country. This is why I would like to share my culture by teaching my language in order to let everybody discover what Italy is beyond stereotypes and general knowledge. I studied other languages so I do understand the effort in learning a new language so I do my best to make at ease my students and let them experience a new kind of learning. I am an Italian student who graduated from the University of Verona and now lives in Brussels to take the Master in Journalism at ULB. I have already given classes (also English and French to Italian), so I have some experience. I learned several languages and this allows me to understand the difficulties that can be found. My goal is to advance the person grammatically and lexically and to allow him to have a conversation in Italian. If necessary, I am available to move to the student's home.

Italian is my mother tongue. At the age of 20, I am a hyperpolyglot with a knowledge of 28 languages, 12 of which I speak perfectly.

I spent two times on television (JT of the one and broadcast of what I mingle on RTL-TVI.

I give infallible language courses where I also reveal the secrets that ensured my success.

Italian is my native language and I am a teacher since 2011. I have a Master's degree in language and literature and I teach in Flemish schools and adults. I have effective methods and good flexibility.

I don't want learning a language to feel like a chore, or a burden, therefore I put a lot of effort in making my classes interesting, new, and fun to ensure you take the most out of it.

If students find they already know something quite well, I will not dwell on such topics too long and will move on to other topics that are new to them, or of interest. My goal is to provide a focused session in which the student is really the center of attention, where all their needs are met.

Je viens d’une petite ville de Ligurie, dans le nord de l’Italie, et je suis actuellement en train de terminer un doctorat en philosophie. Depuis plusieurs années, je donne des cours particuliers à des personnes qui souhaitent apprendre l'italien pour des raisons professionnelles ou simplement par plaisir.
