I began my musical journey at a music school as a teenager, and since then, I’ve continued to expand my skills independently by learning new songs and techniques. With over 17 years of experience playing guitar, I also have a passion for songwriting. I’ve taught students at beginner to intermediate levels, and I specialize in acoustic guitar. My focus is on pop, folk, and indie folk music. I can also guide you through strumming techniques and the fundamentals of classical guitar if that’s something you're interested in.

I will pick you up musically from where you are and I am happy to respond to your music requests.

I impart basic knowledge, song accompaniment with chords, fingerstyle, theoretical knowledge, playing technique, ear training, a sense of rhythm, and give tips for playing with other musicians. If desired, also improvisation, building up guitar solos, using free music software.

I'm an Australian living in Munich. I'm a passionate guitarist of 20 years, and have taught guitar to students of all ages in private and school settings. Music was a huge part of my upbringing. I invested my time in mastering my music skills, and worked closely with professional performers. I received a High Distinction for music in theory, aural and performance and I was selected to perform at the Sydney Opera House in front of an audience of 3000. This was special as I was one of 20 music students selected out of 6000 in my state.

In 2014 I started working at Pro Expression Music School where I would teach private guitar lessons to beginner and intermediate level students.

I've lived abroad for 4 years and have performed at open-mic nights in multiple cities including Edinburgh, London, Newcastle Upon Tyne, and Belfast.

I would love to support you or your child in learning to play the guitar.

I teach all genres of music and a range of different styles, feel, and technique.
