Complete class about Brazilian way for to play the drums. Diferent ways to play Samba, Bossa-nova, Ijexá, Partido Alto, Baião, Xote, Frevo and some other specials Brazilian rhythms. The focus is giving to the student a correct knowledge about this kind of music, the correct way to think about it, for better interpretation, for play it with the correct feeling and correct swing. Some progressive exercises on drums developed by me for many years, result of a work with some Brazilian artists and teaching a lot of students at Villa-Lobos Music School in Rio de Janeiro.

Hello i am a professional drummer and percussionist who lives in Rio de Janeiro and love several types of music especially Brazilian music and jazz. I have performed with several artists in Brazil and other countries for about 20 years playing drums, vibraphone and general percussion. At the same time i have been teaching classes to many students at all levels where i could develop a gradually method to teach Brazilian music on drums and percussion.
My aim is to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to perform correctly this music. If you are intested in learn more about it, discover many possibilities to play these rhythms on drums, perfect yourself in this type of music, improve your knowledge and technique or just start learning drums using these rhythms it will be a pleasure for me to be able to help.
The lessons are adapted dependind on your level and your interest, if you don´t mind speaking english not too quickly we will have no problem with that, and i hope we have a useful and interesting class.

I'm a long experienced drummer and percussionist, specialised in improvised music, jazz and creative music in general, even though my professional activitity spans from contemporary to pop music.
I have accomplished my Bachelor and Masters study in Italy, and since september 2023 I moved to Basel to do a Specialised Master in composition, performance and improvisation.

With many years of experience in private teaching and two years as associate professor at the Conservatory of Milan, I love to deal with committed, passionate and curious musicians at any point of their musical carreer, weather they might want to study just for fun, passion, or as a way to enter the profesisonal world of music.
I'm available to teach to drummers and percussionist, as well as other instrumentists that may want to deepen their understanding and practicing on rhythm.

My artistic research is about time and space, that find their realisation in colors and rhythms. As I graduated also in Foreign Lenguages and Literatures, I like to have also a linguistic approach to music and to musical genres.
