I tutor children at your home, at a location of your choice (max. 10 minutes travel time) or online (from about 12 years). I also teach Dutch: conversation, spelling, grammar, reading, NT2. I listen carefully to what you need and I adapt my lessons to that. I am a patient, flexible and friendly person and I like a bit of lightness in the lesson. I believe that you as a student should enjoy the lesson (at least a little bit), then learning will happen automatically. Because a good result, that is what we strive for together! Ik kan de lessen helemaal voegen naar het niveau en de instructie van de leerling. Zo kan ik voor materiaal zorgen, maar dit kan ook vanuit school geleverd worden. Ik kijk graag wat het beste bij uw kind past.

In a lesson explaining the basics of the Dutch language, I focus on four main elements: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure.

Pronunciation: I start by introducing the Dutch sounds and letters, including difficult sounds such as 'g', 'sch', and the long and short vowels.
Grammar: Then I explain basic grammar, such as conjugating verbs in the present tense, using articles ('the', 'het', 'een'), and making plurals.
Vocabulary: I introduce basic vocabulary that is used every day, such as greetings, family members, colors, and numbers.
Sentence structure: Finally, I explain the basic principles of sentence structure, such as the order of subject, verb and object in a sentence, and simple interrogative sentences.
Each lesson is supported with practical exercises and examples to actively involve students and strengthen their understanding.

I am an experienced online tutor specializing in math, reading comprehension, and spelling for all primary school classes. My approach is focused on strengthening basic knowledge and developing self-confidence in children. Each lesson is tailored to the needs of the child, so that the learning process optimally matches what they need.

Voor jou bied ik de cursus 'Spellen met een D of een T ?' aan. Samen behandelen we de regels die gelden voor het spellen met een D of een T. Dit doen we voor schrijven in de tegenwoordige tijd en schrijven in de verleden tijd. Als je deze cursus hebt gevolgd, behoren d-en-t-fouten voor jou tot de verleden tijd!
