I taught English, mathematics and physics at a boarding school, and also via webcam to people in Moscow, Stavropol, Belgrade, London and Jerusalem.

I am now working with students in Alicante and beyond.

Regarding teaching: I am very flexible in terms of schedules and in terms of what my students want to learn. I am happy to work at all levels.

When it comes to English, I don't do too much grammar, but I do a lot of conversation. Personally, I like grammar, but too much can confuse people.

Many people find it strange that mathematics can be taught online. When teaching face to face it is expected to use a whiteboard or pencil and paper. I tend to use an equation editor and ask my students to dictate to me, so they don't have to struggle with the editing themselves, just the material they are learning. It works well.

I am senegalese , Professor, Linguist and Wolof language specialist. I am a Wolof native speaker .

My methodology is to base myself on the courses in a structural and clear way, accessible to my learners to give them quality teaching and a total understanding of the courses in a cordial and satisfying atmosphere.

Wolof is the most spoken language in Senegal, Gambia where it has been enriched by the contributions of other dialects, Arabic and French, which remains the official language. It is experiencing a cultural expansion in the country and is also present in Gambia and Mauritania.

So to facilitate your integration into Senegalese, Gambian society; it is essential to go through this language because it is the vernacular although there are several beautiful local Senegal- Gambian languages but Wolof remains the most used language. this is why I propose to teach the beauty of this language which is my specialty and my mother tongue, I also teach Senegalese and Gambian culture and civilization.

Learning Wolof offers anyone who wishes to get to know Senegal, in a professional, cultural or touristic context, to establish privileged contact with its population.

My method is very simple, I start by teaching you the most common and used words and expressions. Then slowly the formation of sentences, conjugation, grammar but also you how to pronounce each word well and know their positions in the sentence.
Thanks to my very simple and effective teaching methodology, the student can manage to form sentences in Wolof very easily from our first lesson.

I have already trained hundreds of students all over the world to speak, hold a conversation or communicate and write Wolof. What is more fascinating is while taking my lessons I noticed most of my students speak Wolof with a very clear accent in Wolof because I often insist on phonetics.

I also want to inform my learners that apart from online courses, I organize language visits and tours in Senegal; for those who wish to travel in order to practice and discover Senegal with special packages.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company.
