Biology is a diverse scientific field ranging from the internal mechanisms of cells to the varied ecosystems of the Earth. Topics for this course include the structure and function of cells, molecular biology, genetics, body systems, ecology, and biochemistry.The objective of the biology foundations course is to provide introductory material for all of the previously listed topics, while tailoring the depth and specificity of lessons to fit the student's needs and interests.
