Biology is a diverse scientific field ranging from the internal mechanisms of cells to the varied ecosystems of the Earth. Topics for this course include the structure and function of cells, molecular biology, genetics, body systems, ecology, and biochemistry.The objective of the biology foundations course is to provide introductory material for all of the previously listed topics, while tailoring the depth and specificity of lessons to fit the student's needs and interests.

My name is Jasmine. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Oberlin College and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Drexel’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Professional Studies. I am a passionate and experienced teacher specializing in biology and medicine. With my in depth knowledge in these subjects, I am eager to teach and foster a welcoming learning environment for students who seek to learn different disciplines of science.
Disciplines of science such as molecular biology, ecology, biochemistry, psychology, anatomy and physiology.
I am committed to delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs, ensuring that each learner develops a deep understanding of the subject and reaches their academic goals.

I offer flexible scheduling online to accommodate students locally and nationally. Lessons can also be held in person in the greater Philadelphia area.

Beyond the college setting, I served for two years as a teaching assistant at a science center, where I facilitated hands-on learning experiences for children ages 6 to 12. In this role, I translated scientific concepts into engaging and age-appropriate activities, cultivating curiosity and a welcoming environment for young learners.
