English academic writing follows a number of specific rules. I teach the main structure that students should follow to succeed in writing essays and dissertations. Additionally, citation rules and practical skills will be discussed. I am also happy to assist with resume and cover letter writing in English. Moreover, I also offer copy editing of your assignments and help with related queries for an additional fee (depending on the length of the assignment). On my qualifications: I completed my Ph.D. in Political Science in 2019. Throughout my studies, I completed additional classes in Academic Writing and Copy Editing. I founded an association that taught Academic Writing classes to graduate students. Since 2012, I have edited numerous papers and dissertations of other students. I work as a researcher and lecturer at a university and as a fact-checker at a think tank. In terms of languages, my mother tongue is German, I completed all my studies in English (and lived in the US and the UK for a number of years) and work in French. I also speak some Swedish and Spanish if that helps you!

As a German native speaker and with years of experience of teaching, I teach German to beginners, intermediate and advanced students. The classes will be designed based on the individual student's needs, ranging from conversation classes to grammar-heavy courses to something in between.
