I think that math is the most beautiful subject and I hope to convince you of the same thing! It's a shame that students usually learn to solve problems without understanding what the solution means. For example, every student learns Pythagoras' theorem, but have you seen an explanation for why it must be the way that it is? My lessons focus on answering exactly these kinds of questions in a fun and interesting way. I am also happy to add programming lessons that go hand-in-hand with whatever you are studying. About me: I am an American currently doing a PhD in computer science (infologi) at Aarhus University. My bachelor and masters are in math, and I spent four years working in industry at an applied research company. I am comfortable teaching up through masters level mathematics. My dad was a Ukrainian physicist, so I am also comfortable teaching in Russian and Ukrainian.
