I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner. In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun. The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.). As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times.
