My name is Miriam, I'm in my final year of Master studies at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent. I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 8 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher.

A professional with over a decade working as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral cellist, Daniel designs lessons to suit each student, regardless of their age or experience level. Daniel's teaching philosophy focusses on strong fundimentals and uses those as a basis for expression through music. Drawing from his experience using ABRSM, AMEB, Kodaly method, Tortellier and Feulliard schools, Suzuki method, as well as his own compositions, Daniel combines each to create a unique approach for each student's needs.

I have 6 years of experience teaching both cello and music theory, both as separate subjects and as a combined learning program. In this time I have worked with many different students with different skill levels and ages. My lessons adapt to the students goals, skills, previous knowledge and learning styles. On our first lesson we will determine what the starting point is, what we ant to achieve in the short and long term, and we will make a plan to get there that best suits you.

Hello! My name is Pablo López and I am a professional cellist. In my 20+ years playing the cello I have been lucky to build an international career as a solo and orchestral musician in places like Bremen (Germany), Sweden (Göteborg), and Belgium (Gent). I have 4+ years worth of experience teaching online/in person, as well as a C1 Cambridge certificate of English. I also have a B1 level of Nederlands. My philosophy of teaching is to teach my students in a comprehensive way how to use their body 100% efficiently. I will teach them how to play in the most natural way, getting rid of tensions and fears in the process. My name is Maria Fernández, I’m 25 years old and I’m a professional cellist graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I’m doing a Master in Classical Music in the Royal Conservatorium of Gent. During so many years I’ve been teaching music in different ways and ages (in schools and to private people): To people who wanted to start learning about the musical language or begin to play an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their theoretical musical knowledge. If you are beggining with the cello or with the music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and audition or an exam, if you are doing a high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for so many years in different places (orchestras, conservatoriums, recordings, musicals…) so I think I can give you some good advices in different areas. Ik ben al jaren celliste en deed heel wat ervaring op doorheen de jaren. Ik ben vervanger bij de Filharmonie, het Nationaal Orkest van België en het Symfonieorkest van Vlaanderen. Daarnaast ben ik vaste celliste in verscheidene projectorkest en speel ik vast in St.Grandson, een band die vorig jaar de nieuwe lichting won. Door deze ervaring op te bouwen, voel ik mij nu sterk genoeg om mensen te onderrichten.
