Hola :) I am from Madrid but I am currently studying my master's in philosophy at Utrecht University. I have always enjoyed learning languages and I also have quite some experience teaching Spanish. ¡Hola! ¿Te gustaría aprender español? My name is Zoe and I am a Spanish native speaker from Castilla (the region of Spain where Castilian comes from!). I have always been very interested in understanding and learning more about my mother tongue and I have been teaching Spanish (for 7 years already) through private lessons to both children and adults who want to learn this language. My teaching method will be adapted to the student: I don't have a fixed method because I believe that each person learns better in a unique way that is adapted to them. I like knowing the student, knowing their motivation to learn and why they want to learn the language. About me: I am a calm and understanding person, very organized and responsible. open-minded and always using imagination and curiosity when getting out of a problem. I am very interested in neuroscience (that is why I am so interested in adapting the teaching method to the student), meditation, yoga, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection. I am currently finishing my master's degree in classical cello at the HKU Conservatorium and would like to stay in Utrecht for a few more years.

The class is dynamic and personalized depending on the age and level of the student. As a student myself I understand how sometimes the theory is overwhelming, therefore I make my lessons organized, so the student keep motivated. I also try to do activities, to keep the class entertaining.
