Hello everyone, I am a professional photographer, freelance journalist, and certified sake sommelier. I hold a BA in Asian Studies, and MA and Ph.D. degrees in Visual Arts. Living in Japan for over 14 years now, I also had the privilege to gain experience as an English teacher after working in both elementary schools and high schools as a teacher for several years. My native language is Hebrew and I will be more than delighted to help you make your first steps in Hebrew. Russian is an Eastern Slavic language spoken mainly in Russia and many other countries by about 260 million people, 150 million of whom are native speakers. Russian is an official language in Russian, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. If you are travelling to Russia, as with any foreign country, you will find that you have more interesting experiences if you can speak and understand a little of the language. I would be happy to help you in studying Russian language.

My Spanish lessons will be skill and grammar focused. I will help the students to develop their language skills so that they can use them in real contexts. For the DELE and Cambridge assessment lessons the students must have a good command of the language because I will prepare them to know the structure of the tests while they practice and develop the main skills and sub skills needed to have a good result. My focus is on the student's goals for English, short-term and long-term. Whatever your reason for studying- be it for a better job, a 'career up' , to pass an important exam or to enjoy traveling overseas, my job is to get you to your target as quickly and enjoyably as possible. Confidence, interest level and motivation are all vital. I do like to set a little homework-- however I will do all corrections in my own time for free so I am your 'homework partner'.

Based in Tokyo, I've been teaching English for over two years now. I specialize in English conversation, and test prepping. I have experience teaching students ranging from ages 4 to 15, developing my own lesson plans to cater exactly to what my students need.
