My name is Darling and I've been playing the violin for over 18 years.

I studied at a conservatory in Washington DC for ten years, and I recently graduated from the École Normale de Musique in Paris.

I have spent most of my life giving concerts around the world and competing, and I would like to share that with you!

I develop a teaching program based on my student's level and knowledge.

I am passionate about teaching and find joy in watching my students progress. I have helped many students prepare for concerts and auditions. Mu goal is to provide my students with the necessary tools they need.

I studied at the Levine School of Music for ten years, and moved to Paris, France at the age of seventeen to study at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris to pursue my diploma in Violin Performance, where I obtained my Superior Diploma.

During my years of experience as a teacher, I developed different methods and exercises to teach drumming and music from beginners to advanced students. more important in my function is to have the ability to adapt since each student needs an individual and specific approach. Thus, although my teaching method is based on standardized concepts and exercises, the most important thing is to adapt to each student. I think the main interest is that the students can find the motivation to practice the instrument since the true learning is built by oneself. In this end, the most common is to use the songs chosen by the student and from this point of departure, to highlight the concepts that must be acquired.When it involves students of more advanced levels, I try to focus the teaching on a goal given together.

My lessons help people passionate about music increase their understanding and refine their technique. I’m a classically trained pianist and vocalist, with experience teaching, recording and performing. Although classically trained I was raised performing variations of Jazz and Pop music. My approach uses fundamentals and technique consistent with classical training, and applies studies in other elements.

Together with students young and old we will build a unique curriculum and study guide which develops the comprehension of music theory, technique, performance experience, ear training and sightseeing. The repertoire will reflect at least two genres all in an attempt to maximise the versatility and experience of each student musician.

I’m a native English speaker with a good understanding of French. I also speak Spanish, Portugués and ASL fluently. I can communicate in Russian.

Passionate about music offers an initiation or a deepening in music (music theory, piano or singing). My goal is to be as attentive as possible to your expectations and I will be quite capable of adapting.
Having played the piano since I was 6 years old, I acquired a very good level of music theory and subsequently found fun methods for this learning which may seem boring but remains necessary. The goal is to help with motivation and confidence! Learning music theory can be for all instruments. Indeed, I know the three types of keys (treble, bass, and C) depending on the instruments.

Student in violin at the conservatory of Aulnay-sous-Bois, I graduated from the CEM in violin and music theory and I will take the DEM. I have currently been giving violin lessons for 3 years to beginner and intermediate children who progress very quickly. I propose for beginners an initiation to the instrument, then gradually an integration of music theory in parallel with the course. I insist on the position of the bow and the left hand so that the student can progress in the relaxation. I also work on breathing, a very important notion in music. I am patient, smiling and listening to the student to help him progress despite the difficulties. I also practiced the piano for 6 years. I do violin courses every year for two weeks and during which I give violin lessons to young children.

Graduated from a license in musicology, I am currently pursuing my graduate studies at the conservatory in the scholarly disciplines of composition, analysis, writing, musical arrangement as well as Jazz.
I have been playing guitar for many, many years now, as well as piano and flute.

Clarinet classes are made of two main parts :
- one part to warm up (scales, games, breathing...)
- another part about instrumental technicality (mouthpiece position, fingering, rightness...)

The first part is dedicated to one particular technique at a time (legato, pizzicato, rhythm...). The second one consists of studying one piece from classical, jazz or klezmer repertory. Student and teacher will be able to play duets together.

I give piano and music theory lessons with my own method. The music theory part is not purely theoretical but always mixed with practice. My method emphasizes the deciphering of scores, given that the objective is to allow the student to be as independent as possible thereafter.
