Or do you just have a mild fascination with dancing and want to try it out once just for fun? Then look no further! I am Urvi, classically trained in Bhartnatyam( Indian Classical Dance) along with Jazz and Ballet. I carry with me 22 years of dancing experience and multiple years of teaching students. I am here to conduct Bollywood Dance workshops and classes to teach you some fun moves on all time favourite Bollywood numbers!

I have danced on Bollywood songs all my life, maybe it choreographing for wedding performances or even for flash mobs here at the University of Oxford. I am passionate dancer of Tango Argentin at Nosotros Tango Brussels. Since I was young I have been dancing couples' dances, and as soon as I could, I taught tennis, folk and salsa.
I give regular tango lessons, and I do not stop training myself even more, especially with the Maestros who come to our school and my teachers Sebastian Achaval and Roxana Suarez.

I'm an avid Argentina tango dance and teacher at Nosotros tango school. I've been dancing partner when I was 14, and I was teaching classes of tennis, salsa and folk from very early on. I give regular classes in tango, and continue to train my own dance with the teachers that come to my school and my own maestros Sebastian Achaval and Roxana Suarez. The whole team of amazing teachers of Nosotros can be found on the site.

I am a dance choreographer. I give Bollywood dance lessons in Antwerp, Belgium at four different locations in a week.

Bollyfit is a combination of choreography based on Bollywood dance styles, Bhangra, Contemporary, Folk dances, semi-classical, etc.

Everyone from 3 to over 70years old are welcome with us! Bollywood Dance is a unique dance style based on Indian Bollywood films. The program was specially designed so that no dance experience is needed.

Dutch Dancing school for Highland Dancing. Would you like to learn to dance scottish(Highland)?
Dancers of all levels are welcome to join.
Teachers are qualified (SDTA).

Private classes and workshops are also available

Classes can be taught in English or Dutch.

Learn and improve your style. You can develop technique, style and vocabulary in a private session with us. We are experts in Tango (all styles), Milonga(all styles) and Vals. Our experience will bring you to the dance floor in no time. Enjoy dancing at parties for your friends and be ready to show your skills.

These are the classes I can offer:

1. Introduction to contemporary dance and improvisation
With this workshop introduction to contemporary dance, we invite people without dance experience to taste improvisation. Dancers use different techniques to create movements. One of them is improvisation: the process of spontaneous movements, shaped by exercises that work on the imagination and empathy. The desired result of the workshop is that the participants make a connection between emotions and movement.

2. Dance classes for seniors
The first part of the lesson is warming up on the chair. Inspiration drawn from gyrokinesis, a form of movement that increases spinal mobility. In combination with Pilates-based exercises for muscle activation, we prepare the body with an approach that is suitable for everyone.
In the second part, the exercises continue standing with a body scan. The exercises explore every part of the body using weight, dynamics and movement qualities. The end result is the involvement of the whole body playing with rhythms and patterns in space.
The class is designed for creativity, individuality and vitality maintenance.

3. “Connect-id flow” - Contemporary dance lessons
In the “Connect-id flow” class, the essence is to neutralize excess energy so that the dancer moves effortlessly through space. The organic sequence of movements that make up the exercises focuses on weight distribution and the movement of the spine. The accumulated kinetic energy guides our body forward in the exercises; it stimulates the continuation and relaxation of the body parts.
During the warm-up, which consists of floor work, information is shared about the correct use of the limbs. As well as the importance of grounding the body to achieve softness and continuity during the execution of the movements. Once we have prepared the body, the intensity of the class builds. The weight navigates the body through space and spirals introduce more complex movements. Ultimately, the goal of the lesson is to build strength, find a smooth flow of movement and a better knowledge of the energy distribution while dancing.

Throughout my 13 years and ongoing experience as a choreographer, dancer, entrepreneur, singer and creator, I have come to master certain tools that can help you become a freer and truer version of yourself. Through movement and expression, you will find ways of unlocking mental blocks and activating new ways of being your purest self.

Workshops can be done in groups as well as private, or even with your family.

Dancing is a good workout that you can have fun with. Dance with me and work on your condition, fitness and your pub passes. You can even recommend songs for an experience that suits you! Classes are online and therefore fit perfectly into your schedule.

I started my journey of learning how to shuffle/cut shapes a little over a year and a half ago and it ignited a flame of passion in me like nothing had in a very long time. I'd say it's turned into a somewhat spiritual experience for me. Although there is of course still a lot for me to learn and improve on and I feel like my journey has just started, I feel confident that I can help others get started on their own journey. My fundamentals as well as my knowledge and understanding of the dance are pretty solid and I would never try to teach you something that is outside of my expertise. I think at the end of the day though, the most important thing with dance is to just have fun and to learn to find confidence and freedom in your expression through it, so most of all I hope I can help you find that.
