Hi, I’m Joe. I started ChildFirst Education a few years ago after nearly 10 years of experience in education. After my PGCE in 2008 I worked in an inner London Primary School for three years before leaving. What concerned me most was the levels of stress on children, families and staff.

I re-trained as a Play-Therapist and started working with children and families more holistically in their homes as a home-school tutor, after-school tutor and/or mentor for a variety of reasons.

I have home-schooled a children aged between 8-14 and tutored children/worked with families across London/Kent focussing on school entrance exams (Alleyns, Putney High, Dulwich College, Colfe’s), 13+, 11+, 7+, confidence, self-esteem and a range of other issues.

I have worked with children and families from all over the world with autism, down syndrome, dyslexia, ADD, auditory processing, emotional/behavioral difficulties, epilepsy and selective mutism.

Spanish is a language which now a days is really recognised in todays society and also on a loats of qualified jobs. As a native speaker and also qualified student I feel that my teachings on spanish could increase someone's level even higher or help to improve their spanish wether it's at GCSE, A level or own knowledge. As with Maths I have a strong background on maths GCSE which makes me a great candidate to get your children to get the top marks on their maths GCSE or even prepare your kids for their SATs.

Nowadays, I know how hard it can seem for an adult or teenager to learn a new and completely different language. But with the right approach, it can be easy to learn and love a foreign language and culture! Whether you want to get ready for an exam (A2 - B1 - B2 - C1 - C2) or you want to learn a new language for fun, I can help you to succeed!
Interactive and fun lessons for young children!

Learning a second or third language is important and very useful in this day and age.
I like to make my classes fun, with different kind of interactive activities. I think it’s important for students want to put in the work which is why I find it important to keep students motivated.
The aim of these lessons, is for you to reach your goals and achieve the level of fluency you want to achieve, no matter what level you’re starting from. This of course all depends on the work you’re willing to put in! No matter what, these lessons will be helpful whether it’s a hobby or it’s for your career development.
I’ve had experience with students of all ages, mostly children, but some adults as well.

Maths, English and Spanish GCSE can be very difficult. I have a grade 8 in both Maths, English and Spanish GCSE, therefore with my guidance, I can help obtain any grade you desire. I give a good balance of challenge and ease for every one of my students. If you have any weaknesses, we will work on them continuously. In addition, we will skim over your strengths. To see your progress, I will test you from time to time.

Mathematic classes courses 7 to 11 at all levels. I am a graduate and I know the current syllabus of the subject. Personalized classes with teaching adapted to the needs of each student. Knowledge is analyzed and how to develop it facilitating a rapid evolution in learning and academic development.

Language coaching is similar to any other coaching situation like in sports, singing, acting: it helps create training situations, offer feedback, provide encouragement and give direction to help facilitate the most effective and efficient learning experience for each individual.
As a language coach, my role is to assist you with your needs in:

I have always helped people translating things and helping out people with things they need in english or spanish, became passionate about teaching both, spanish is my first language as i’m from colombia and i love teaching english and making it easy for people to learn it too
