Violin: technical skills, musical phrasing and presentation

My tutoring focuses on the art of violin playing, additionally to the way an advanced student or young musician has learned in a conservatory. Musical insights from different perspectives are shown to increase the quality of sound, the versatility of articulation and phrasing and last, but not least, to get prepared artistically and mentally for auditions, competitions and performances on the highest level.
Many tricks and advice will be given to overcome obstacles in performing, as well as many inspiring insights in issues like breathing, posture and musical flow.

Saxophone lessons with professional saxophonist for all levels, children or adults. English, Español, Français
Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to make the best of yourself! Classes are for all levels, children or adults. We follow a working method where you will develop in a continuous and deep way your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his MASTER DIDACTIC in 2018 in the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Before, he also followed a MASTER of INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of mixing all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic finality. This type of research has been observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of human needs hierarchy where he mixes live, recorded music from the dance, light effects and effects under the name of "according to Maslow ..." At the level of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo, duet, trio, quartet, orchestra ...) and different countries such as Japan ("Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (2016 Musiq3 Festival) ), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016 ...), France (Dax 2011 chamber music festival) or Spain (Quincena Musical Music Festival 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Kutxa Festival 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

Professional violinist is giving lessons of violin online! Learn to play violin and enjoy every lesson! 😊
In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique. Students will generally learn better if they feel a connection developing with their teacher, whether that’s through humour, showing care about their development, or making sure teacher devote time equally to all students when in a group. You will not regret. 😊

Zachary
Viola and Violin Lessons: Technique, Improv, and a Healthy Relationship with your Instrument
This course is for viola and violin students from the beginner through the high school level, and any age from 5-99! My goal is for my students to foster a healthy and long-term relationship with their instrument. The course focuses on practicing and truly understanding technique, with an emphasis on listening. Weekly assignments tend to include technical exercises, scales, and classical pieces of the student's choice. Basic improvisation is also an interest of mine and, I find, a valuable experience for my string students. I believe repertoire is largely a matter of student taste. Students of mine have learned pieces in the Suzuki books and other classical repertoire volumes, but have also learned pop and fiddle songs according to their interest. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from the University of Puget Sound, where I graduated in 2015 before moving to Vienna to study privately for three years. I am currently on hiatus from a Master of Viola Performance degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I study with Ásdís Valdimarsdottir. I have been teaching violin intermittently since 2009. While my musical education is classical, my performance interests are much wider. I have performed jazz and pop improv, and am currently exploring how hip hop can be implemented on the viola and violin.

Violin and Viola Lessons - Learn a new instrument or improve your skills
I'm an experienced teacher, with students of different levels/ages. I enjoy the diversity of students and understanding of their different ways of learning and goals and for me, this is the best part of the job - to know an treat each student as a unique person that they are. You'll be encouraged to make music from the very first day. Together with some necessary music theory, always applied to the instrument, you'll learn pieces of gradual difficulty. We make use of progressive tuition methods and you'll learn a solid technique by playing scales, bowing and fingering exercises and easy tunes to begin with. Repertoire includes etudes, playful and challenging concert pieces and from the very beginning duos to play with the teacher.
