Hi! My name is Ivan and I will be your guide on the way of learning drums. I've been playing drums for 11 years, mastered drums in different music genres: Jazz, RnB, Latin, Soul, Hip-hop, Rock, Progressive Metal, Indie, Math-rock. I have a recording studio so all our lessons will be held with good sound. And If you wanted to learn how to record drums - I can teach it as well.

 I've been teaching for more than 6 years, has helped many students improve their playing skills and motivated them along the way. I know how important it is to keep loving what you're doing and getting better with the instrument, my methods of teaching are based on the mix of getting inspired, being focused and disciplined, learning new interesting for a student things and constantly getting better on the instrument. What can be better than seeing the great results of your studies!

As flash education is the new trend on the web, I try to identify myself as someone that does not take pride in giving "tips&tricks" classes rather to build toghether a path towards nolt only the understanding of the musical concepts, but towards their discovery. Through the use of Ableton Live I will cover music theory and it's appplication to the digital and analog world, exploring electronic and acoustic music, providing by time to time free tools and subsequent explanaition on how to use them, to build not only an in depth knowledge, but an efficient workflow. Having thaught in universities, it is clear to me that the path to learn cannot be a series of discontinued classes. For that reason I spur you to send me a message and organise up to 60 minutes of consultation, so to craft the ideal path to you. Whether is understanding of music theory ( Which I will refer to during classes as black magic ), or understanding all the steps and knowledge that are needed to start and finish a track. The classes will be on zoom and at the end of it I will provide you the recording of each class so that you can keep track of whatever we did at all times. Including after we will be finished :)

The classes are adapted to different levels so that you can develop your potential to the fullest. By expanding your repertoire and improving your technique and understanding of music, I'll help you keep moving forward from where you are. Learning with original notes and tabs. The course that I propose is BILINGUAL FRENCH / ENGLISH, as well as 2 BOOKS. This is a class where you are going to learn how to work with your own composition ideas as well get acquaintance to new composition tools and approach. The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles.
