My name is Popi and and I live in Glyfada, Greece. I am a native Greek language tutor and I've been teaching modern and ancient Greek since 2004. I hold a Master's Degree in E-Learning. I am also a PhD student in Education.
My education philosophy is that the student comes first. I try to give motivation to each student to fulfill all their goals and to achieve their education purpose.

I emphasize on speaking and listening skills and on interactive and innovative digital resourses that I design by my own.

I am an enthusiastic teacher, who empowers people to learn what they need!

I am bilingual, Greek and French. 30 years of experience as a teacher, I give French lessons at all levels: DELF, DALF, SORBONNE, CCIP and CNED. On webcam in a studious atmosphere, I offer all electronic material free of charge on word and PDF pages. Specializing in both literary and economic texts, I take care of beginners as well as advanced people who want to progress in French. It is the same for all levels in Greek. Graduated from the University of Sorbonne IV Paris, I also work on corrections of memoirs, comments and translations. All the material for the French literary baccalaureate and for the French literature of the Aristotle Universities of Thessaloniki and Kapodistrian of Athens are provided free of charge.
MY METHODOLOGY Expert for beginners, since I have worked a lot on my "beginners" method which is based on my own experience in collaboration with specialist writers from CLE international and so we proceed in stages. My methodology for other levels includes a variety of documents + books from major publishing houses, authentic sound documents, grammar exercises, animated dialogues, role plays with the learner, phonetics exercises, morphosyntax, analyzes of press articles or magazines from the same day of the real news and thus develop the side of French civilization and culture too much demanded for the DELF, DALF, SORBONNE exams. On webcam I share my screen, I write most of the terms and I send them after the lesson in pdf on the email of the student. The student will be able to print my notes. I also use specialized methods for English speakers. My lesson is not limited to an hour of 60 minutes because I send you throughout the week videos, magazines of your interest: arts, fashion, politics, history, health etc.

I offer French courses and I am certified as an examiner and invigilator for DELF-Sorbonne exams by the French Institute of Greece. French courses also for English speakers.
I also give private lessons in modern Greek to English- or French-speaking children, teenagers and adults (physical presence or online) / Greek is my mother tongue.

I've been teaching modern Greek as well as Ancient Greek to adult expats and students of international schools in Athens and abroad(Dubai)for over 20 years, helping them to communicate fluently in Greek and succeed in the exams for the Proficiency Certification in Greek language! I'm a Bachelor's degree holder and have been working also as a freelance interpreter.
I've been teaching also English as a second language for 20 years. I"ve worked in a primary school in Great Britain, following a scholarship I received from the Greek State Fund and participated in the school's unit for children with special language disorders since I'm qualified in teaching students withspecial learning difficulties such as dyslexia. I have extensive experience in teaching English and preparing students for all diplomas and certifications of Michigan and Cambridge Universities and I have also worked in the most established foreign language school, EURODIASTASI as a teacher and as a director of studies. I am a graduate of the Kapodistrian University, Department of French Language and Literature, associate of the international teaching certificate TESOL/TEFL as well as the teaching diploma of CAMBRIDGE university. My lesson is organized and very efficient. My students achieve their goals easily and quickly!
