Having 20+ years of experience, I am interested in sharing my knowledge of yoga and the benefits of Reiki (energy harmonization) with everyone. I was trained in India where I lived for several years (Iyengar, Sivananda). Iyengar's individual approach allows you to work the postures accurately using the breath, without hurting yourself, learning to listen to him. I currently practice dynamic yoga based on a series of postures by consciously breathing that allows the mind to gradually let go.
Private lessons allow you to establish a personal practice program. After a first interview, during which your motivations and needs are studied, you will leave with a personalized session to practice at home autonomously. I establish and guide a practice that will be reevaluated and intensified gradually by integrating reflexology and Reiki (energy harmonization) during each course.
Private lessons can be done at the teacher's home or in English or in French.

Having a physical and mental outlet- such as a regular home yoga practice- is so important. During the first confinement in France, I turned my in-person yoga classes into online sessions. The virtual classes I teach have proven effective for my beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. I have also resumed teaching in-person yoga sessions and classes in Paris.
Yoga aligns your physical movement with your breath and increases physical strength and flexibility. Practicing yoga with a private teacher enables you to have the proper alignment for the postures, which ensures the most benefits. Yoga is great for people of all ages, shapes, and physical capabilities. Just a few of the many benefits of yoga include relaxation, relief of back discomfort, muscle tension, and stress.
The private lessons that I teach are tailored to your goals and physical abilities. Yoga sessions will be given in the comfort of your home, or outside as weather permits.

After 20 years of practice in a broad variety of sports, my daily practice now encompasses all these styles for a holistic approach to fitness and inner peace. It is applicable to any level, from beginners who want to discover the potential of their bodies to already sportive people who want to increase performance.
During the practice, I emphasize mindfulness and sensations for students to learn how to listen to their bodies. If you want to focus on one style more than the others, don’t hesitate to tell me!
I try as much as possible to work without any equipment, although a yoga mat would be useful. However, if you already have weights, ropes, or anything else, let’s make good use of them.

Movement Ritual is a gentle but expansive method developed by Anna Halprin, living legend of the American avant garde. Remembering the Body was the title of Anna's weekly classes that she offered for decades at the historic Mountain Home Studio in Kentfield, California. She has graciously allowed me to use this title for my own classes.

Do you want to learn the balancing act, do you need more flexibility for your sport or do you want to become more flexible in general?
Did your sports club's standard stretching methods and YouTube videos not help?
Unlike children, most adults find it much more difficult to improve their mobility. Therefore, they must proceed with particularly sophisticated techniques and with caution, because nothing throws back further than an injury.
I use a combination of different methods that combine stretching with training: My exercises stretch and strengthen the muscles at the same time and thus have a positive effect on the central nervous system, which in turn controls the stretching. Therefore this course is very exhausting!
● Breathing and relaxation techniques
● Fascia training and nerve mobilization for improved signal transmission -> nervous system
● alternating tension and relaxation of the muscle or its agonist
● Strengthening the muscle in the stretched state and at the same time improving balance (loaded progressive stretching)
● Using lever techniques to create more room for deeper stretching; isolated stretching of individual muscles (kinesiological stretching)
With the classic approach, you passively wait in the respective position until you automatically dive deeper into the stretch due to muscle fatigue. The muscle is not sufficiently activated, so the nervous system is not affected to the same extent and progress is significantly slower.
If you want to move faster and are not afraid of a little exertion, you should definitely try this method!
About me: I'm inherently inflexible and I started stretching when I was over 20 to become a professional artist. Therefore, I know the difficulties from my own experience, have dealt intensively with stretching and keep myself constantly up to date.
