My teaching style is relaxed but structured: you’ll get clear guidance, hands-on practice, and steady progress in every session. We'll cover chords, strumming patterns, fingerpicking, scales, and even songwriting—depending on your interests. I’ll help you build confidence and musical fluency step by step, always at your own pace.

Hi, I'm Laura, I'm a cellist and I love to share my musical knowledge with other people. I have experience with students of all ages and I believe that there is no right age to start learning to play an instrument. I adapt my lessons to the objectives and tastes of each student. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you get tired less quickly when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower notes. During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. Hello everyone. As a musician based in Lausanne, I offer viola da gamba lessons for all levels in French, English, and Spanish. A discovery course is available for children and adults who would like to try the instrument. In the classes, a strong emphasis is placed on the development of musicality, the search for a personal sound and the development of a technique in the service of musical expression.

In this lesson, we will learn the basics of Arabic singing, voice and breathing exercises, oriental maqams, and analysis of singing passages. The lesson is suitable for beginners and those with a background who wish to develop their oriental performance techniques. My practice is applied using examples from the Arab heritage (such as Umm Kulthum and Abdel Wahab), in addition to listening and analytical exercises.
