I teach violin and all brass instruments from beginner right through to grade 8. I also have experience teaching music theory and GCSE and A Level Music. I believe everyone is able to make music, and I always try to share my enjoyment and passion for music with my students, no matter what they want to learn and achieve.

This violin course is for children and beginners, in the comfort of your own home. We will focus on improving technique, posture, and intonation while always working in an enjoyable atmosphere. I am a French violinist who has been playing violin for 22 years and performed as a soloist in the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Romania and Hungary. I can teach in French and English, which are my two native languages.

Hello, I have extensive experience with students of all ages as a teacher of music theory, violin and viola. Custom classes, focused on student interests. I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process. I want my students to be aware of the importance of good posture and technique in order to enjoy the learning process without problems.

Violin is a wonderful instrument. I play and teach it with passion. My role is to help you to make a progress in playing: develop your technique, sound, understanding of music and expressing yourself. You will broad your overview about classical music.

This course is for viola and violin students from the beginner through the high school level, and any age from 5-99! My goal is for my students to foster a healthy and long-term relationship with their instrument. The course focuses on practicing and truly understanding technique, with an emphasis on listening. Weekly assignments tend to include technical exercises, scales, and classical pieces of the student's choice. Basic improvisation is also an interest of mine and, I find, a valuable experience for my string students. I believe repertoire is largely a matter of student taste. Students of mine have learned pieces in the Suzuki books and other classical repertoire volumes, but have also learned pop and fiddle songs according to their interest. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from the University of Puget Sound, where I graduated in 2015 before moving to Vienna to study privately for three years. I am currently on hiatus from a Master of Viola Performance degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I study with Ásdís Valdimarsdottir. I have been teaching violin intermittently since 2009. While my musical education is classical, my performance interests are much wider.
