Hello, dear music enthusiasts, My name is Clio, I am a professional musician and educator based in Cologne. I am offering private lessons, at your place, in German, English, and Greek. During my teaching experience, I have taught people of different ages and levels with special expertise in little kids. Learning an instrument can be a lot of fun; it helps you develop your self-expression and makes you smarter! Information and structure of my lesson: ~Fundamental technical knowledge of the instrument well combined with musical and theoretical knowledge based on the material that you study. ~Adaptable to the student's personal learning pace, needs, and level. ~The teaching material includes the classical basics but is at the same time adjustable to your personal wishes! ~It is important for me that you are feeling comfortable and relaxed, as I find this essential for a good lesson and helpful to your learning process. ~I engage in the lesson by playing a lot and accompanying you with my instrument, as I believe a lot in the power of learning by observation and imitation.

Music is universal language who everybody understands. It is also powerful weapon to express our life, feelings, thoughts and whatever we can imagine. As master graduate music artist (jazz pianist, composer and arranger) I can help you develop your skills and make your music sound exactly like you imagine. On my classes you will learn how to practice effectively (but not more), to write down the music you have in your head and also to extand the world of music harmony.

Have fun learning the piano according to your taste. After years of classical piano lessons, it is important to me to pass on the knowledge I have gained in a playful way with a focus on interests, intuition and improvisation. It is important to me to teach you this instrument and the associated knowledge and skills based on your wishes and musical taste. The focus is on fun. Technology and theory will be incorporated individually depending on the circumstances, but will definitely not be neglected. I will give you the tools you need to help you achieve your musical goals with joy and motivation.

I am Lara from South Africa and I am a passionate, qualified pianist who is incredibly happy to share my passion with adults and children. I have a lot of experience and bring a lot of joy and fun to my lessons.

As a student, I feel that a teacher is a fundamental figure in one's life while setting out on a new learning experience. I would love to show my students the wonders of playing the piano, explore together the numerous emotions that we can express through music and discover an entire world of marvels. I already have a vast teaching experience, ranging from small kids to young adults. I am available for students of all ages and levels.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

My name is Luka. I have been working as a teacher for 12 years. Graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in piano. I teach children and students of secondary and higher musical institutions. I offer such directions as: classical music, jazz, pop and any others at your request. I teach you how to play melodies by ear and create your own accompaniment for your favorite melodies. I will be glad to help you understand the world of music)

You will learn singing, piano, guitar or musical language (You choose) at your own pace. From scratch (0). You do not require experience or previous knowledge. Just desire to learn and constantly improve. Do not be afraid. Ask and dare to do something new.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Our Professional Studios are set with 2 video cameras, so you can see us perfectly and also hear us perfectly with a studio microphone. Do not worry about your settings, as long as you have a stable connection this is all what we need. Why online classes? We think online classes are a valid asset for the future. Students learn comfortably from their homes and the education that they receive is proved to have the same validity as in person lessons, if performed with the right means and the right method, obviously! This is what we have been researching and testing for the past 5 years.
