Often during our day to day life we can hear a loud voice in our minds criticizing and judging everything we do, by saying "you are not good enough", "you don't know how to do that", "you will never succeed"...
At that moment it is the "monkey" mind that is running the show, not yourself really.
But how can we quiet that noise in our minds, how can we let go of constantly worrying about this and that, how can we have faith in life during these uncertain times? There is no magic wand that can do that for us, but there is a practice that can help a lot.
There are some simple techniques that can provide grounding and a feeling of relaxation, but more importantly there is a way to shift your own perspective, so that you can make peace with everything that's happening in your life.
My intention is to offer support, guidance and a safe place for you to discover all that is you without judgement.
By just accepting and loving everything that comes out from the process of the inner work, you give yourself the opportunity to reach your own authentic self.
I can offer you my time, my energy and my own experience to help you cultivate a daily practice and a healthy mindset to come back home, to that place of unconditional love, support and alignment. I have been meditating and practicing mindfulness my whole adult life and it has proven to me that it is the only way to live a peaceful and content life.

I have been doing yoga for a number of years and I teach beginners, intermediates and advanced vinyasa classes. Both Dynamic and Slow Flow. My lessons are 30 to 75 minutes, whichever you prefer, given in English or Dutch. I also teach other styles such as Yin Yoga, Restorative, Power and Ashtanga.
Yoga has done a lot for me, both physically and mentally. It's not just about moving, it's about much more than that, and I'd love to share this with others. I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Greece.
I would like to give my students a better understanding of why you are practicing a particular pose, its benefits for your body and mind, and the best way to get into the pose. My lessons are anything but superficial!

I am a child development and language teacher. I also received a special meditation training certificate for my profession. While words such as stress, anxiety, and fatigue were not known in our childhood, we encounter these problems in almost all children due to the weaker friendships of today's children and their decreasing activities outdoors. Therefore, an important step to be taken at a young age, both to cope with these problems and to increase the awareness of our children, is to start meditation. Scientific studies on this subject have proven that meditation increases attention span and reduces hyperactivity in children.
Ich bin ein Kinderentwicklungs- und Sprachlehrer. Ich habe auch ein spezielles Meditations-Trainingszertifikat für meinen Beruf erhalten. Während Wörter wie Stress, Angst und Müdigkeit in unserer Kindheit nicht bekannt waren, begegnen wir diesen Problemen bei fast allen Kindern aufgrund der schwachen Freundschaften der heutigen Kinder und der Abnahme ihrer Aktivitäten außerhalb. Ein wichtiger Schritt zur Bewältigung dieser Probleme und zur Sensibilisierung unserer Kinder in jungen Jahren ist daher der Beginn der Meditation. Wissenschaftliche Studien zu diesem Thema haben gezeigt, dass Meditation die Aufmerksamkeitsspanne erhöht und die Hyperaktivität bei Kindern verringert.

In this course we learn the basics of mindfulness meditation (or mindfulness) that allows us to achieve a serene presence to be able to face and solve small challenges as well as the biggest difficulties in life. We practice a guided sitting meditation in each session, with mindful breathing exercises that can be easily used at home outside of the course. Meditation and Yin Yoga go hand in hand for me, we can use these practices to tune in to who we are; connecting to our experience when we feel uncertain of where life has taken us, who we are, or how to be at ease in our own skin and mind. Depending on what you need, we can look more closely at Meditation or at Yin Yoga, or a combination of both.
Yin yoga is a wonderful practice to support your meditation; to touch in or reconnect with your body or to balance more active practices that focus on building and toning muscles. This practice can support a stiff, achy or even injured body but is also great as a counter practice to more intense sports such as running or martial arts where muscles often tend to shorten and become stockier.
Especially people who experience frequent back pain or stiffness in the neck, back and joints can benefit tremendously from a Yin yoga approach.
In these meditation classes we will take a close look at the workings of our minds by anchoring to the breath and our body. From this landing place, where we can always return, meditation can be an ongoing exploration of the many layers and depths of our experience. We can practice becoming comfortable with our discomfort, gradually becoming our own most intimate friend.

Meditation is a practice to make life better and more efficient. We spend more time worrying about future and dwelling into the past. It is a practice which helps us to focus on the present "now".
There are different ways to meditate and the best one I find is "breathing practice". Basically, "breathing in" and "breathing out". It means, nothing is permanent, nothing stays forever and anything that happens in life , happens for a good reason. Basically, it helps to be optimistic and a positive thinker towards life.
I have been meditating for over ten years. It has helped me to know myself better. When you know yourself better, you will understand life better. I can also recommend good books and good movies about anything you are struggling at the moment in your life or simply a good conversation.
Express yourself, let your negativity flow out and let the positivity come into you and you find peace, inner peace.
