I was born in Italy and moved to the uk at the age of 16, I have always been exposed to both the Italian world and the British one too because of my deep bond to the English culture thanks to my mother who was born and raised in the UK. In possession of both day to day and technical language skills, this class would be adequate for any entry level.

Born and raised in Italy up until the age of 16 but with one foot always on British soil because of my mother who was born and grew up in London. I have recently graduated in Biological Sciences and have now started a new route to become an osteopath through a 4 year university course at UCO.
My knowledge of Italian comes both from my natural background but also from the high school I attended in Italy up until the sixth form where I had the chance of attending "Liceo Classico" a school where the main focus is on the Italian language itself.

An innovative, creative and inspiring Qualified Languages Teacher and Translator of Italian, Spanish, English and Romanian.
With a variegated ten-year working experience in different contexts, countries and with multicultural groups of students, I aim to offer a first-hand experience of what exactly speaking, thinking and reacting in a new language means.

With excellent results, I fully exploit the potential of authentic materials (songs, short films, films, books, newspaper articles, literature) and drama techniques, which I had the opportunity to deeply research at the Institute of Education - University of London, and subsequently put into practice in the London schools for which I worked.

My lessons are always student-centred, interactive, stimulating and related to real life, cultural situations and/or to exam requirements (GCSE, A-levels, International Baccalaureate, IELTS, TEFL, PLIDA, CELI), according to my students' needs.

I place high value on mutual respect, cooperation and active participation, the use of humour and imagination.

I teach Italian and French to Primary and Secondary school aged students. I also teach foreign languages to adults and Preschool children.
The beginners will start with easy exercises and short dialogues to learn the language. Intermediate and Advanced students will do grammar exercises to improve their language. I would like to speak Italian and French to the students right away. We will write dialogues and talk about interesting topics all together. I usually use the Internet as well.
My goal is to keep students challenged yet interested in my lesson.

Intermediate students will learn to converse comfortably on both a personal and professional level and become familiar with idiomatic expressions and standard business vocabulary.

Italian is my native languages, I have started teaching italian when I was at Uni in Coventry. Here I had the chance to practice teaching for a various of different students, from student to adult, from european to asian students. This helped me learn to overcome any difficulty that comes with teaching in a mixed class.

Before starting my teaching experience I have attended a training course which was focused in teaching using only the language without translating. Implication helps students understand and remember better as they have to find the rule by themselves instead of simply reading it through a grammar book. I am native italian but I am fluent in French and Spanish. I have an undergraduate bachelor in Applied Languages with Spanish and I study french since the age of three, hence I have also experience in teaching spanish and french.
