Childhood is one of the most favorable stages to learn an instrument or start exploring music inside. Not only does it help the child to have discipline, it also helps them develop many areas of the brain. Learning and discipline while having fun is one of the best ways to introduce them to music.

My practical method is focusing on having fun while we learn. Children usually get tired so easily but if we play with them rhythm, notes, high and low pitches and the most important factor : play their favorites songs, they will love having lessons and the most important thing, they will learn without noticing.

About Me

Paola is a South American soprano born in Cochabamba, Bolivia. After finishing her studies in Petroleum, Gas and Energy Engineering, and thanks to Katia Escalera, her first singing teacher, she arrives in Europe to study at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, Switzerland with Marcel Boone.
She got her second Master's degree specializing in Opera in Biel with the Swedish soprano Malin Hartelius and collaborated in the production 2018/2019 in the Solothurn Theater. She works as a professional singer in the Stadttheater Giessen.

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.

My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.

Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.

A bit about me:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'.
