Piano Lessons for Beginner-Advanced Levels in Classical and Contemporary Styles
I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist 12 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. For example, in the last year my students have achieved highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in various competitions. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

Songwriter & Graduate Voice Coach teaches singing, composition and music theory in and around Brussels.
As a vocal coach, I understand that it is important to develop a good vocal technique but also to develop self-confidence and mastery of oneself in order to be able to deliver the best of oneself in any situation. I take care of students of all levels and all ages. I explore with them different musical fields according to their desires and affinities. My classes are a mix of technique, improvisation and practice. I really like the practice to include an element of interactivity with my students and to be able to get out of my classes with mastered pieces, in their own way. Indeed, I also like to take the time to research with my students their own inner voices and talents so that they are really artistically speaking; a kind of musical inner journey. So, if you are looking to develop your vocal and musical abilities as well as develop your own artistic voice, do not hesitate to contact me! Arianna.

Conservatory graduate gives private lessons in modern singing and jazz
The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire. In vocal technique, we will work on specific aspects such as the anatomy of the phonatory apparatus, its functioning, breathing, vocal emission, extension exercises, vocal register, vocal agility and vocal hygiene. . In the repertoire, we will mainly work on songs that help and support the development of everyone's artistic personality, and we will choose songs that can help the student acquire new vocal language and vocal cues. With me you can work on songs in Italian (I am a native Italian speaker), in English (I graduated from the Brussels Conservatory in English under the direction of my singing teacher David Linx), in French and in Spanish (languages that I studied, spoke and sung) and finally in Portuguese (a language that I studied a lot thanks to the Brazilian music that I sang and from which I learned a lot). My method is for anyone of any age who has decided to use their voice consciously, so not only singers but also actors, teachers and anyone who has to use the voice in their profession. With children, the method will focus more on rhythm, singing and musical awakening. In addition, we will explore topics such as complementary piano (piano accompaniment with voice), songwriting (writing your first songs or helping you write and write an unreleased song), recording and producing songs. a cover or your own original song. In short, there are so many things to learn about voice and music that the avenues are endless and I am always looking for them, constantly updating and with great passion that I can't wait to pass on to you. Private lessons of violin, viola, and/or music theory
As a violinist in higher education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I intend to pursue a professional career as a violinist, as well as as a teacher. Adoring to share my passion for music, I have been teaching the violin to different children, teenagers and adults for 3 years now. I am particularly interested in teaching different profiles of young artists, in order to help them develop their knowledge and skills. Whatever the level of the student, I always adapt as much as possible to his level and his rhythm. Always wanting to keep the pleasure of playing, I take the time to discuss with the student his projects, musical desires, motivations... The notion of sharing and communication is very important to me: music is above all a pleasure and a sharing between us. Remaining attentive to my student, it is essential for me to teach and to make him progress with things that he likes and that makes him want to share in music. Having a classical training since the age of 6, I also have expertise in world music (especially South American), as well as in jazz and contemporary music. I am therefore of course very open to playing and teaching any style of music.

Solfège all levels / Musical Theory all levels admited
[ENGLISH, SEE BELOW] A music theory course for anyone who wants to start with a solid foundation in music, or for an already advanced musician who wants to go further. This course is also perfect for an academy or conservatory student who wishes to prepare for the music theory exam. Despite the fact that this is a so-called theoretical course, everything that is seen will first be worked on in a musical context and experienced by the student in order to be assimilated. The theoretical explanations will follow from it by itself. On the program (student's choice) - Ear training (knowing how to rewrite melodies with one or more voices, chords, etc.) - Note readings in one or more keys - Rhythm readings, polyrhythmic work - Encryption and recognition of agreements, - Transposition. This musical theory lesson suits to every level, from the one who wants to learn how to read music to the one who wants to know more about chords, transposition or polyrythms. This lesson is also perfect for a student who wants to prepare an examination. In despite the fact I called these lesson "Musical theory", it is firstly about understanding the music. And that can only be possible by ... doing music. So be aware that we will be singing, playing chords, clapping rhythms, ... My purpose is that the student understand by himself first, then the theory will come naturally. What we can do during a lesson (student can choose): - Ear training (Learn to catch a melody of one or several voices and write it down by ear, recognizing chords, recognizing rhythms, ...) - Rythmical work: learn to clap different rhythms in different time signatures. Also included polyrythms. - Key reading, in one or several keys. - Transposition (learn how to read a flute sheet while you're playing trumpet, ..)
