Lydia
Piano Lessons—Classical and Contemporary (ages 6-adult)
I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. Having 12 years of teaching experience, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I am currently pursuing my third degree (Postgraduate Concertsoloist) at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, and have obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions.

Sara
Music and Violin Lessons in Antwerp- begginers, intermediate and advanced levels
Hello! My name is Sara, and I'm a Spanish violinist living in Antwerp! I just finished my Master studies in the Royal Conservatorire of Antwerp. For some years I teach children of different ages and levels, both in Belgium and in Spain. The lessons will be focused in different ways, according to the interests of the student: initiation, improvement of the technique, orchestral audition... So, feel free to contact me, and we will talk about the level and objectives of the lessons and I will try to solve all your doubts. Thank you and hope to see you soon!

Liisa
Piano, guitar (for beginners), music theory, music history, singing, solfege, general music knowledge
Thinking about developing your skills in music knowledge and piano playing? If not yourself, maybe your children? Experienced in working with children and adults I am looking for new students in Antwerp. Even though I'm focusing on piano lessons, people interested in guitar (for beginners), music theory, music history, singing or solfege are also welcomed. The lessons take place in Antwerp (Meir) starting from approximately 10-15th of January 2019. If you are interested, contact me :)

Mafalda
Violin Lessons: begginers, intermediate and advanced levels, all ages
I start playing violin when I was 5 years-old, and since then I never stoped. I thank my first teachers for passing me the entusiasm, passion and love for playing violin when I was a child. So... I would love to pass the same feeling to my students, to have fun while playing violin and learning new music! In my first years playing violin, I followed the Susuki Method (you can find more information about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_method), and I find it really interesting for begginers (till intermediate students), since it really gives good basis and also keeps the students motivated (because of the repertoire, of playing together...). >Beginners: my idea is to introduce the student to Susuki Method, and to follow it after. If the student wants to pursue another Method, we can search together and see the best way to suit the student needs. >Intermediate/Advanced: first, my idea is to see the level of the student, and what the student expects from violin lessons (just learning for fun, hobby; amateur-musian; guidance for study; prepare for auditions; concerts;...). After that, the programme and lessons should be develop according to student needs. If possible I would also like to do group lessons (with all the students), because I find it really important to do music together and share experiences.

Kapka
Piano lessons, theory, solfeggio, basic musical analysis
The focus in piano teaching is on technique, interpretation and theory for the advanced. These elements are included in a playful way with beginners. The attention in this process is focused on the individual specific wishes of the student.

Shuya

Learn how to play classical and folk music with a mandolin or a guitar!
I am responsible for instructing students with the skills they will need to become successful musicians in their own right. This includes the basics of teaching how to play an instrument, as well as fundamental concepts such as tempo, pitch and rhythm. I am spesialized in tutoring folk and classical music!

Adam
Music Composition - Modern Classical composition for ensembles, orchestra, ballet, opera
I specalize in composing music for ensembles, soloists, and orchestra - with a Masters of Music Composition from the Koninklijke Conservatorum Antwerpen. My goal is to pass along knowledge and coach young musicians who wish to create their own music, either as a composer, or simply to stimulate their own performance practice. I have a background of classical, folk, and various popular music styles including heavy metal, rock, pop, etc. We can work through the development of your works, touching on relevant aspects of music history, and implementing them into your compositional practice.

Leonie
Violin lessons in German, Portuguese or English for beginners and intermediate students
I started to play violin at a young age and never stopped since then. I would like to transmit my passion for music and violin to you. With a beginner I would start with Suzuki and with an intermediate student I would adapt the program to her/his level. We can always discuss things together! My schedule isn’t that flexible because I’m still studying but if you’re interested don’t hesitate and contact me and we can se if it works...

Igor
Professional violin lessons for youths and adults (composition and music theory lessons additional)
My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

Aveline
Private Piano lessons by international Concert Pianist
I am an international concert pianist, performing across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. I have been performing solo concerts, as well as chamber music, or as a soloist with orchestra. I have recorded 3 CDs so far and have reached the finals of numerous national and international piano competitions. I have been teaching privately to motivated and enthusiastic students since 15 years, in Belgium, India, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. I have a very personal approach to teaching, and think it's important to adapt my teaching style to each and every student, depending on their needs and personality. I believe music comes together with learning a lot about yourself, so I put a lot of attention to the wellbeing and the growing in confidence of my students. Everyone is welcome, at every age or level, but I do expect a motivated and eager-to-learn commitment - as you can also count on my full commitment. And together we can bring you beyond your limits!

Alana
Beginner & Intermediate Violin Lessons (Taught in English)
I have experience teaching violin to beginner and intermediate students for over 15 years in California, United States. I recently relocated to Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students who are interested in learning more about the violin. A bit about myself - I began playing the violin at age 9. I am a classically trained violinist and have performed with orchestras, chamber groups, rock bands, and jazz groups. I have performed in venues including Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House. Though I never pursued violin performance as a university major, I continue to maintain my skill, teach, and perform regularly. I have a passion for music history, and would love to talk about it with the student if they are interested. Please let me know if you have any questions!
