Graduated from a Master degree and a double Bachelor degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I can help you developp your technical skills on the saxophone, your harmonical and rythmical knowledge, your sight reading as well as developping improvisation skills, through a pedagogical method that follows the student's aspirations, starting from wherever the student's development is at and moving on from there step by step.
I adress my lessons to all levels, from complete beginners that never had any contact with music to advanced students that want to keep on developping musically.

من أنا؟
Born in Nice, France, in 1993, Adrien studied classical music from an early age (playing cello, studying harmony) before to integrate professionnaly the French Riviera's jazz scene from the age of 16, on bass and saxophone.
He moved to Amsterdam in 2013 to expend his musical horizons and entered the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, within wich he got to learn with musicians such as Ben van Gelder, Jasper Blom, Simon Rigter or Joris Roelofs, and from wich he graduated in 2017 from a double bachelor in jazz saxophone and electric bass and in 2019 from a Master degree in jazz saxophone.
During this years he worked on integrating the Dutch jazz scene and developping his musical identity. He participated in various projects beside working with his band (Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Uldis Vitols Sextet, Little Olifant...) and got the opportunity to perform in places such as the "Bimhuis", "Meer Jazz Festival", "Amsterdam Jazz Fest", "Doek Festival" or the "North Sea Jazz Festival". Through his big band experience, he got the chance to work on projects featuring the greatest jazz musicians, such as Alex Sipiagin, John and Gerald Clayton, Bob Mintzer, Ben Wendell, Seamus Blake and many others. During his studies at the CvA, he also got the opportunity to learn from the greatest masters such as Barry Harris, Dick Oatts or Terell Stafford.
He obtained the "Best Soloist Price" from the "Keep An Eye International Jazz Competition" in 2019 in Amsterdam.
He played a couple of tours abroad, with his own projets and as a sideman, including several tours in Greece in 2017 (Thessaloniki, Corfu, Kozani Jazz Festival), South Korean tours in 2018 and 2019, and gets to play regularly in several other european countries as well (Hungary, Belgium, Italy...).
Meeting Jimmy Halperin in 2019 (one of the heaviest "Tristano follower"), they started collaborating on writing a book about Lennie Tristano's conceptions and practices.
He released his first album as a leader "Adrien Quartet : Réflexions" in October 2019 on the parisian label "Jazz Family".
