Hello, I am a French graphic designer giving flexible French lessons to all levels and all goals! I have a background in art and literature and therefore would be interested in taking the lessons to another context than the academic one. I already have previous experience in teaching French and would be pleased again to share my culture and language. I can give adapted lessons from complete beginners to advanced ones! According to the student's wishes, the lessons can be focused on the preferred aspects (Conversation, vocabulary, grammar, writing, formal writing, etc.)

Who? I am a twenty-eight-year-old French and U.S. Anthropology student. I am trained in FLE (French as a Second Language) and have worked for the National French Education Ministry as a Middle School Teacher on the beautiful island of Mayotte. Following that exotic experience, I decided to change course and study Anthropology all the while teaching French as a Second Language on a freelance basis. I moved to the Netherlands just recently and have decided to continue practicing as a French tutor. I have also tutored English classes in France for five years. What? I offer French or FLE (French as a Second Language) courses based on multiple sources and I regularly renew them because it is important to be in adequacy with today's society. As I just started learning Dutch, I teach in English all the while aiming for 90% French during the class. Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular. When? I work every day of the week.

I have more than 20 years of experience as a French language trainer and have provided language training to more than 20 nationalities. Before I started my own company in 2005, I was an independent teacher of French Language and Culture and provided language and culture training for most of the knowledge of language institutes in the Netherlands. I have held various positions in international organizations, which gives me a good understanding of business.

My lessons are usually mostly conversational. I think that the best way to learn a language is to fully immerse yourself in it, so I like to just speak French to my students. In case of a lack of understanding, I try to explain words with synonyms that the student might know, or signs, or, as a last resort, I translate them into English. I can also help with French grammar or with learning how to write anything from short texts to long essays.

Hello and welcome ! This class is aimed to teach French to children from 4 to 18 years old. I provide help for your French homework and I can teach you the basis of the French language and culture. In addition, I am a native French, so I can also bring you my experience with the customs and culture of France. Therefore, I can adapt myself in any circumstances, and on the basis of your needs.

My classes are meant for everybody, and are given in English and French (I do not speak Dutch yet). During the first class with a new student, I will assess their language skills and level, and plan the following lessons accorddingly. I can also adapt if you have particular requests. The classes will idealy taking place at my appartment, next to the Rijksmuseum. I can also move around Amsterdam if needed.

As a native speaker, having experience in teaching french and having recently undertaken a training for teaching french as a foreign language, I can easily adapt to each student's level and needs. My classes focus mostly on communication, you will practice and lot. I work with students on original french documents, so they learn step by step vocabulary and grammar but always in a specific context that makes learning funnier and easier ! I have good knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in order to properly assess and reference achievements of students. Hi I'm French. I have just moved to Amsterdam and I offer you my services for French courses. Beginner-school level, for your children or for yourself. I can move or I can give them at home I only speak French and English.

The purpose of this class is to learn french through the french culture and oral conversation. There will be different approaches to learning french : activities related to the French culture (depending on the age and personal preferences), a more conventional method of learning (for grammar for example, if needed), oral conversation (about actuality, the culture, art,...), and possibly the study of books, texts, movies in french. During the class I will mostly speak french, and I consider oral conversation a very important part of the class. If you need to focus on grammar, spelling, or conjugation it is not a problem at all and the exercises will evolve with your specific needs and level. I always estimate your level and the points we need to work on during the first class so we know on what to focus on. If you feel the need to learn even more, I will also give homework such as specific grammar exercises, and I will recommend to you some books to read in french or movies to watch depending on your interests.
