Trusted teacher: lets work together and get those music skills better, shall we?😜 My name is Juan, I am a Spanish born flutist that works internationally, and nowadays I'm based in Rotterdam. I have already finished two Master degrees and a Bachelor with some of the worlds best professors and institutions: Robert Winn in the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Germany), and Jacques Zoon in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (Madrid). Since many years, I work and collaborate with many different symphony orchestras as principal flute, soloist or piccolo flute, as well as with chamber music groups and ensembles. You can check the links below to listen some of my performances! :) I have a very wide teaching experience. I've been teaching for around 10 years now, in many different institutions: high development schools, orchestras, private schools, private students... and nowadays live and/ or online! I can teach all flute levels, from initiation to preparation for bachelor, master or orchestral auditions. I have a wide knowledge of the repertoire, and I've worked on it with many of the best flutists we have today: Formisano, Baerten, Grehl, Franz... Feel free to contact me to organice a personalized lesson, or just to know me a little bit more! Lessons can be at my home (Delfshaven-Rotterdam), online or at your home (after figuring out traveling expenses, etc. At my place, I have a very big space where covid security measures can be perfectly applied (even for a flute lesson!) Looking forward to know from you :)

COURSE FOR VOCALISTS / SINGER SONGWRITERS "You don't need to be able to play the piano well to learn to accompany songs in a beautiful way in a short time" Do you want that? For example, because you want to learn to guide yourself better as a vocalist and/or singer-songwriter or other vocalists in your teaching practice? That's possible with me. I have developed a method that allows you to learn this quickly. My method provides general insight very quickly and at the same time is focused on you as an individual from the start. Skills/conditions required for this course: - be able to read music notes - basic knowledge of chords on the piano - in possession of an (electric) piano - time for daily tutorial It concerns a course of 5 lessons, in principle during 5 consecutive weeks. The first two lessons may be split so that I can help you on your way every few days. Depending on your (style) taste and level, we determine together which songs we will tackle. What you learn in 5 weeks you can apply to other songs after the course. Of course you can also contact me for individual (piano) lessons, songwriting and theory. Trusted teacher: First of all, you shouldn’t chose an amateur teacher for a reason of a cheap price! I was struggling to play the piano because of a bad amateur piano teacher before I found real artistic teachers who have certain experiences as concert pianists. After years of removing bad behaviors and techniques, I got very conscious of using my body proper way while Practicing and got so much flexibilities on the piano. I would love to share what I learned with my students! Biography Shintaro is a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already got the fırst prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying in Kyoto city University of Arts. At the year of his master graduation, he gave a solo recital in Kyoto and his recital was considered as one of the best performances of over 200 concerts in AOYMA Music Foundation. He earned The AOYAMA Music Awards in 2010 and graduated with summa cum laude, Several times, he performed as a soloist with several professional orchestras in Japan, and some of these concerts were broadcasted on TV and radio. Shintaro continued studying the piano in Lucerne with Konstantin Lifschitz supported by Hella Siegrist Fonds and AOYMA Music Foundation. He performed a concerto for left hand by Ravel with Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and James Gaffigan in KKL Lucerne Concert Hall in 2014. His performance was described as "a Brilliant pianist with solid technique and sensitivities" on Luzerner Zeitung. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music and historical instruments and historical practices. He earned the first prize at Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) in The Hague Royal Conservatory and worked as a teacher. He has worked as an accompanist and ensemble pianist for Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra, Opera2day, Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, Noord Nederlands Orkest. He also performed "Mad King" by Maxwell Davies in New European Ensemble on tour in 2021.

Trusted teacher: Piano, harmony, music theory, aural training, arrangements and composition dedicated teacher. Vast experience with different ages and levels, preparation for international exams, auditions and competitions. "I am a superior piano professor and I have started teaching in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my home country, 8 years ago. Recently I was living in London, UK, where I worked as a full-time piano teacher in WKMT Piano Institute where I have trained and developed my pedagogic skills working with students from all around the world. This experience allowed me to mentor from professionals to early ages with very diverse backgrounds. These are the kind of experiences worth working for, and that confirm my engagement to my pedagogic aims. Building structures that fight to give a voice to the speechless is one of the values I learnt to care the most as a working woman, and that is the reason why I feel engaged with teaching music. Music is a tool to learn a whole different language and improve intelligence and creativity, no matter which is your background. Music is a way of finding how to express yourself in a specific language, and it is at the same time a fun and fascinating process. As a music teacher, I face a challenge every time I train a student, because learning music and learning piano implies a very personal developement. I continued this project in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where I became a Master of Music in World Music (Tango-Jazz Composition) at CODARTS University. I intend to keep sharing my knowledge and experience with new students."

Trusted teacher: Since graduating at the Conservatory of Rome, teaching as well as performing has been one of my passions! I have been teaching piano for more than 8 years to students of all levels and age. I have experience with children, adults and also with students with different learning abilities. My students were always encouraged to take a step further and navigate through the world of piano under my guidance. My lessons are generally from half hour (for young children) to 1/1,5 hours. Depending on the level of the student, the lesson will include solfeggio and notions of musical theory, technique exercises and study of piano repertoire. My experience lies in classical piano repertoire, including Classicism, Baroque, Romanticism and Early Modern. I try to vary the program of my lessons and to choose the repertoire with the students, based on their taste and inclination. My teaching method is very structured and reflects the methodology taught in Conservatories, Music Academies and Universities. It is aimed at creating a solid basis to prepare for exams and auditions as well as giving the instruments for independent study. This type of method is of course suited also for amateur pianists too, who just want to play in their spare time - it will give them the opportunity to check their practice and receive relevant advice. Aside from the technique, participation, passion and fun are also fundamental! I pace each lesson to the needs and the preparation of the students, listen to their requests and choose with them the right path to follow. All my students are always satisfied with the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere of our lessons!

Sofia
Sofia is a great teacher! I picked up piano as an adult during the lockdown and decided to get a teacher to ensure that I was learning things correctly. Sofia is very patient, selects great pieces to play to keep me challenged and interested, gives excellent feedback on how to play them well and clear explanations on music theory. I really look forward to our lessons each week and would 100% recommend Sofia if you are considering getting piano lessons.

Alfonso
Alfonso is a very proficient and kind teacher for classical piano classes, but what makes his teaching special is his good knowledge of other different styles of music, and his competency to include musical language, theory, and improvisation in his lessons.
